Yes, and yes Tete, especially love those shoes! Happy women's day everyone.

I only managed a measly 500 words yesterday despite working til 11pm. But hopefully the really difficult bit is over and I can get on today. Better had do because my deadline is Monday!

Oooh good luck meeting the deadline Lara! :)

Yes and yes Tete! I've been eyeing up those jeggings for a while but they just don't look good on me! :(

Happy Friday everyone! Usual question... who has nice plans?! :)

Have you tried those actual ones on Birdie - do you mean the print or the jegging style? All you need is a long top and they're flattering on anyone surely? I wouldn't wear them with a little white t-shirt like the photo!

I'm meeting friends for tea tonight (LOVE going out for tea!!), then getting my hair done tomorrow at long last and meeting friend's little baby, seeing gran with some mother's day fleurs on Sunday plus two runs! Yippee! You?

Thanks so much for your post Shrimpy. It means a lot.

Am feeling a bit down today.Everyone seems to be booking holidays or buying or doing up houses. I know the debt is our fault. Just having an off day :-(

CMD they are probably up to their eyes in it so don't think like that. An example here is my colleague - constantly around £10k in debt, will openly say every payday "Ooh I'm only £200 OD now" - he has lived constantly like that with a fab lifestyle (nice house, car, holidays, luxury toiletries, clothes for them and the kids....) since he was at uni and is not a bit bothered about the debt. Then their washing machine died this week and it's a mad panic because they simply don't have any spare cash to replace it (even on credit). No doubt one of their parents will bail them out again but god, wouldn't you hate to be in that position? Just think, a few more months of this and you'll be off on holidays again and it'll all be paid for and you'll be able to relax properly :) Chin up xx

Thanks Tete. I needed that. I will bounce back. Just having a bad week. Feel stupid that I can't drive so that doesn't help!

There's nothing to feel stupid about - driving's hard to get your head around I think. I know some people (usually men) can't believe anyone can find it hard, but I think (generally as women) we think about things more (overthink even!) it can make it harder. I'm not explaining myself very well here , but I had a terrible problem with stalling the car until someone explained what it is that makes it stall, and once I knew that I was fine :o I think moronic people can just get in a car and do what they're told and drive, but intelligent people who think about stuff find it harder :p That's my story and I'm sticking to it! x

I definitely tried something on with that pattern because I love it, can't remember if it was jeggings or skinny jeans though. Either way, I had a lot of big-bum-massive-hips action going on which made me sad! :o

Sounds like a very nice weekend Tete. :) I'm not sure what I'm doing tomorrow; OH's knee is hurting again so he's not playing which means I get to entertain him all day. :p Might go see my folks if they're not too tired from travelling home today. Why is it that I'm not too bothered about *having* to see my parents every single week but as soon as they leave the country all I want to do is spend time with them?! Missed my Mummy. :) Sunday we're meeting MIL in the morning for coffee and gift giving then seeing friends in our favourite bar for lunch and a couple of sneaky drinkies. :)

Sorry that you're having a down day CMD. Tete's right though, you're going to be in such a good position in a year or so and once all the debt's gone you'll be able to book holidays and look at buying a house and you'll never have that mad 'Oh my God there's no more credit available' panic because you'll have learned to live within your means. :)

Good advice from Tete about the driving too. If all else fails, say what Sheldon from the Big Bang Theory says and claim that you're 'too evolved' to drive! ;)
