Mum's is really funny as she's like a little dainty princess who baulks at getting dirty:rotfl: she couldn't believe how dirty Maisie manages to get herself ... Mud Magnet!:D

  • So .... need to get my butt into gear as bloods being done shortly so just a quick visit

I did get the option of phoning this morning if I change my mind about the massage (in case someone else hasn't taken the appt) but think I'm going to leave it - every weather report I see is different - the main BB*C one showed we wouldn't get snow until later this evening .... but on the Scottish news one it showed it hitting around 2pm  - how can 2 weather forecasts from the same station not even be the same!

Happy Friday all .... I'm back to work on Monday  - will be great to get back to "normal";) but still getting really tired so have to take it easy for a while until I settle back in.... of course, it means I'll not be around on here as much!:rotfl:

  • Do your company offer the chance of a phased return or are you going straight back in?

  • Hi Stitchy going back on a phased return - BUT any hours you don't work have to be covered by A/L (or taken unpaid)

It's a bit of a sore point as I've had my A/L cut back to the statutory minimum .... so I've lost 9 days  and as I'm right at the end of my leave year, I don't have a lot of days to play with :(

I'm doing 4 hours Mon & Tues, depending on how I feel, I'll either do the same on Weds or take it off and then 5 hours on Thurs & Fri

The 2nd week is a HUGE jump in hours (for the reasons above) so ideally I'd like to work the Weds the 1st week, so I can do a few less in the 2nd week (hope that makes sense:o)

  • OMG ... I'm in shock:o

    I've actually sold something on e*bay :rotfl:£30 too :T:T:T

Have been checking everyday and nothing happening and ... not checked today then thought I better and ....:D

Will need to get it wrapped up and posted tomorrow .... or I may actually just whip down to the PO just now - I stupidly forgot to drop off my prescription at the chemist on the way home from the Drs this morning:o

Don't know what's happened to yesterday's pic .. I haven't moved it? ETA I've put it back in .... let's see if it stays there!

Funnily enough we had a bit more

    1-P1000332_zps4b1162aa.jpg

Anyway, a bit more but not exactly deep ... popped out to the PO (and sent e*bay parcel like a good seller should ;)) and there was a bit more so my street wasn't too great to get out of & it was snowing then .... got home & the same

BUT have just looked out and it's obviously been snowing quite hard since as there's loads

Could hardly get the patio doors open (the snow / ice accumulates on in the bit where the opening door slides across the fixed door) - have cleared & fingers crossed......

Having a bit of an :eek::eek: moment as have to go to Berwick tomorrow :eek::eek:

How'd it go at the Drs?

Can I borrow DS when he's finished yours?:rotfl:

Tell you what - I'll be bloomin' p'd if I end up doing it again ... I said on a thread yesterday (can't remember which one) that there are 4 houses in my wee bit (horse-shoe bit off main street - lovely but doesn't get gritted!) - all of which have men in and .... who ends up gritting the drive so the ice goes? Muggins here!
