In other news .... Maisie met 3 of her pals in the park this morning and they had great fun chasing each other around in the snow (it was also snowing really heavily at this point) so it left us owners to have a good blether and saved us having to traipse around in it ;) - she's flat out sleeping now so hopefully I'll get some peace & quiet for a while!

Hope you're all safe and warm .....

Nothing better than dogs playing in the snow, releasing the inner puppy is good for them. We had ours out at 23:00 last night.

  • Lovely to see you Mort hope you & Mrs M are well .... and your dogs are still enjoying the snow.

We went to the woods near the beach today .... it was a bit hairy on the wee road getting there - but we made it!

Maisie was really naughty ..... going into this really horrid pool  and then going nuts hairing around with a couple of other dogs and not coming back  However, it has tired her out!:D

Have reversed the car into my drive ... for the first time since I've lived here :o (it's got this really silly curve you have to wiggle around ... I'm not great at reversing!) - why is it that it's easier to drive in / reverse out ... rather than the other way round?

Anyway - thought I'd give it a try as if it's bad in the morning it should be easier to just drive out rather than have to try to reverse out, turn and then drive up the hill.

I always think that pulling in/reversing out is easier - why is that?!

    Did you make muffins? :)

    Awwww Freeby thanks too!

I'm worrying about the drive in / home ATM  bloomin' typical it's like this for my 1st day back :(

Will be taking it easy - will need to get all my passwords reset as can't remember any of them :o - by the time that's done ... I go through all my emails ..... read monthly update bulletins / minutes etc that I've missed (that are quite useful as it's usually the only way you find out something's happening!) ... it should be just about time to come home!:o:o

Hope I can get up / moving OK in the morning ... I'm still quite slow & need a lot of time to sort myself out so think I'll need to get up quite early just to be sure ....

Glad to be going back ..... what's the best that in a couple of days I feel like I've never been off!

    Hiya

Just to say good luck for tomorrow, hope it isn't too exhausting!

Re: reversing - it is because the drive is a relatively narrow space to get into, so easier to do forwards, then when reversing out it is into the whole road, so lots more space to aim at when going backwards?

I always reverse onto mine but it is two cars wide and only my car to go on it at the moment so I get the extra room to play with :D

    Take care

Ahhhh that does actually make sense :T - it's the same if I go to the shops... I'll drive in to a space between 2 cars & reverse out .... think you might have cracked it SOT!

  • Right .... must go & get organised as want to get as much done as poss tonight (ie sort clothes etc) - also want a nice relaxing bath (my Sun night new pampering session:)) etc

Might be back later ..... but might not!

Prob not be online tomorrow morning  that's going to be a shock to the system (and I'll lose track of loads of diaries I've been following as I tend to read them in the mornings :()

Will let you know how it goes - prob take Maisie out as soon as I get home (so I can then just crash without worrying I've still to do it) so it might be late afternoon or even early evening (if I go for a sleep afterwards;)) ....
