was thinking of you today rising, glad the first day went well, the weather sounds dreadful to you and maisie, hope it settles soon0

The first thing I have done when I have come in from work today was to check to see how you got on.
I had been thinking about you today and I am glad it went well.
Have a wee snooze if you need it, it has been a busier than normal day for you. You have to look after yourself.

Thanks El ... I couldn't believe how bad it got in such a short space of time (thankfully I had put my trouser waterproofs on - not something I do often so they helped keep the wind out) ... it's is absolutely vile out there nowfreebyfifty wrote: »The first thing I have done when I have come in from work today was to check to see how you got on.

You know Taxi I was seeing on your diary that you're having trouble staying warm .... I've been a bit *funny* with my body temp for a while now - I'm OK until I get cold, but once cold I just can't get warm (can turn the heating up to 30 deg  put loads of layers on and it makes no difference) - the only way I get warm is to have a bath.
I've been doing a bit better since I got the thermals ..... but I realised earlier that I'm wearing more & more layers to try to retain heat - I'm up to around 5 layers
I even kept my thermal long-johns on under my work trousers (normally I'd be roasting in the office but it's always cold on Mondays as the heating's off over the weekends)......
However .... right now .. I'm frozenMight just have to stick the hot water on and go for a nice warm bath ... followed by fleecy PJs
