Really need to place online order (cat litter) but have temporarily misplaced my visa card:eek: - had to take Maisie to the vets this morning and had to actually pay for it :eek: (which boogers up her budget!) ....
It's in the house - and I used it last night to pay me house insurance on .... I was tired ... and obviously haven't put it back in my purse *sigh*Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

Found it!:j
Seriously .... I really wonder what my brain thinks sometimes .... that's all I'm going to say on the matter!:o
So .... cat litter ordered (cheaper to buy 2 bags & each one lasts a month) and made the order up to free delivery (which they've unfortunately just increased to £25:() with some tins (high meat content) for Maisie.
Then ... went to order her another bag of her dry which I found on offer (£32.40 ... RRP = £51:eek:) - except it's out of stock- bet that's because I've been recommending the supplier to all & sundry on another forum ... and now everyone's been paid ... they've all ordered before me *sigh*
Will keep an eye out to see if they get more - but I bet it's not at that price again ...... eejit!
Filled Dinky up and she was the emptiest she's ever been!:p £20 at Mr T :T (good for me!) and just done a fabby chicken casserole so should get some freezer meals (for weeknights after work) :T:T
Had a nap this afternoon (another 3 hour one:eek:) so still catching up! BUT it's been much better getting up early as usual, doing stuff, having a rest and then doing a bit more .... before I was just sleeping ALL day when I was off!
Was going to make a crumble too - have done the apple & blackberries - but it's too hot to put the oven on (ended up just simmering the chicken casserole rather than put it on) ..... will need to wait until tomorrow for that!
So glad I'm off tomorrow - have a good week everyone
Wannabe not read your diary (or anyone else's yet) so way behind .... not long until the hols now

Hiya Rising - having a quick little catch up on diaries and mse in general, apologies if I missed anything major - I know the money might be stressing you out but it's good that you have had the chance to temporarily drop your hours at work, for the benefit of your health
It is a hard one though isn't it? You feel you need the time to yourself but it boils down to money in the end doesn't it?April 2021 Grocery Challenge 34.29 / 2500 -
HI Shortie lovely to see you
Well .... I seem to have lost another 10 days or so
I am sorry I'm so erratic just now .... thought my head was getting better but it's still really mince at times!;)
So .... OH appt on Weds  really hoping they agree to me reducing my hours - keep your fingers crossed everyone!
I really seem to be haemoraging (sp?) money just now  (decided to split as this could get long!)Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

Sandals - found some wonderful (but expensive) sandals ..... it's absolutely horrendous finding shoes ... and sandals have been just about impossible (toe things are a def no, can't have straps that rest on my scars, need to be just about flat so no pressure on internal scaring *sigh*
So ... weather was really nice last Friday and in desperation I'd gone to work in my multi coloured c*roc like things(not quite as bad as it's dress down day so they were OK with jeans!)
I was at my massage and Jo (not her real name) was saying how comfy her sandals were .... she got them in Edinburgh but there's a local shop stocks them - maybe slightly more expensive but by the time I'd paid fuel / bus or parking - balances out so ..... popped in after work and .....
OMG
they are the comfiest things I've ever had on my feet!:DMine are (sounds horrible but they're really nice) red with a tiny yellow bit in the middle
Not cheap BUT they should last agesThey're fab as both fastenings are velcro so I can adjust the front one especially when my foot swells!

Boots
Walking boots ..... well the last pair came from L*dl and have been absolutely fab - I got them the day before my last foot surgery in Sept 2011!
They were worn for nearly every day for a year (incl at work!) and were then relegated to dog walking boots when I eventually found a pair of work shoes I could get on!
They're starting to look a bit work and aren't quite as waterproof as they were .... the insides are wreaked so .... thought I'd start to look for a replacement pair!
Ohhhh they were £12 so I can't complain!
Anyway .... was in Al*di the other day and ... they had boots that look just about identical to the ones I have!
Couldn't resist .... £17 so not too bad - if they last as long!
Just wish it'd been a different month from the sandels!!!!!Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)
