  • So .... got a huge pack of turkey mince at Mr A (800g) - actually just wanted the 450g one but they didn't have any:(

Then ended up having to buy more Dol*mio sauce as the one I've got won't do that much meat (I know! but I know it agrees with me & I really can't be bothered to cook from proper scratch just now!) ..... managed to get 2 @ £1 each so not too bad.

Managed to get 5 portions from the batch the other day so hoping with an extra tin of toms, few more mushrooms, I can maybe squeeze 10 portions from this one.

That would cost errrr 65p / portion so not too bad.

Had a nice walk on the beach & it stayed dry (spitting now), Maisie did her new trick of going over the burn bit (left when the tide goes out) over to the other side (where I can't get:eek:) but she did come back!

She's collapsed on my foot (not great, as she's wet!!) so hopefully I'll get peace for the F1 (which is starting very soon!)

Hi Risin - sitting here with cup of tea and F1 - bliss:)
  • Rising,

Aldi do a really nice bolognese sauce if I remember rightly. It's my dd's favourite, and I think it was 69p last time I bought it.

Glad to hear that you've had a lovely week and feel rested
  • mmm that rested feeling is starting to wear off already

Really wish I could drop 1 or 2 days at work but unfortunately, being by myself, there's just no way :(

  • So .... another week's trundled by!

Mixed week - woke up in agony middle of Weds night with earache (OMG can't believe how painful it is - how do kids cope with it!).... ended up a Drs and have a "raging infection" in there

On antibiotics which is a bit worrying as they're the most likely cause of the Crohn's flare .... hopefully it'll be OK as should be short term (last lot I was on a month!)

Found a really bad leak under my sink yesterday  tried to fix it but not successfully:o so I now have a tub under there that I have to empty a couple of time a day .... can't afford a plumber - honestly the whole load of pipes under there need replaced so can't let a plumber see it .....

Had a sore finger afterwards .... it then went "crack" when I was out walking Maisie and I thought "great, it's gone back into place" #

Unfortunately when I got up this morning there's a huge lump on it and it's bloomin' sore .... so off I trundle to the Minor Injuries Clinic (at WGH where I was when I had my flare - miles better than A&E at the other hospital!) ..... so that's 60 odd miles of extra fuel used!

I was 1st in the queue :j ... saw nurse .... had xray ...... had broken finger strapped up ...... *sigh*

Came home & broke a match stick ... don't need anything else to go wrong!

Not sure how it's going to go down at work - I can type .... just not as quickly!

So .... Need to get myself sorted & take Maisie out ..... it was really thick fog when I was out earlier & the amount of people driving around with lights was ridiculous - hope it's better now!
