Seriously thinking of leaving this until Mon night (after Mum's been ) so it's hopefully not too bad by the time Nicky arrives
Completely sympathise... the moggies are shedding madly here and I have found myself hoovering my bed :rotfl: as that seemed better than changing sheets every two days!

Holibags were lovely
and it was great to catch up with my pal ... but exhausting!
We were really lucky as it was a fantastic week weather wise so really just pottered around and took Maisie for lots of early morning walks!

Hey Rising. Haven't posted on your diary for donkeys. Sorry to hear you are having a time of it. Will catch up on things when it's not so late at night.

*sigh*
Another couple of weeks seems to have been lost
I'm really declaring this year as a total write off with regards to MSE .... the SoW has even fallen by the wayside (NOT like me as I've filled it in religiously for years now)
I have no idea what I've spent on anything ... the pots are empty  (and car service & insurance to pay this month:eek:) - mainly down to having to prop everything up as on reduced hours ......
Go back to FT mid Sept - dreading it TBH but can't cover the bills on my reduced salary unfortunately
So ..... hope everyone is OK as really hardly online at all just now
I'm going to concentrate on trying to get back into NSDs (totally lost the plot with even these!) and trying to limit "damage" to the end of the year and start afresh next year
I'll pop in here when I can but really think I'm going to start a fresh diary in the NY for a new start!
Back at hospital on Thursday and really hoping my consultant can come up with something else to try ....Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

Hi Rising
So sorry to hear that things still aren't so great with you. Be kind to yourself, you've had a rough year so far. You're right, damage limitation is the way forward now and a fresh start when you're ready.
Love to you xxxNinja Saving Turtle0 -

Thanks Wannabe and Rosa
Bit disappointed with how things went on Thurs - consultant not concerned that I'm not better by now (he said he's not surprised as there was a lot of damage and it takes a long time to heal)
Have to come off my pain meds for my foot  which I'm dreading - I've cut the dose right down (so it's not agony but I'm aware of it IYKWIM) but it'll be hellish without the medsso will have to see how that goes .....
Poor Maisie's been unwell so was at the vets last night - just under £90  which I really didn't need. She seems a bit better today but very droppy & no energy - have tablets for over the weekend and she has to go back on Monday!
Car insurance & service (funnily enough - both are £238! is that not a bit freaky:p) are already both on this months visa bill  (and pot is empty!)
Need to .... but scared to go into my bank accountI sent away the cashback for the mobile on the 10th but haven't heard anything yet .... must dig out the recorded delivery slip and check it
*sigh*
I should have £150 in my CU account (absolute emergency pot as I only put £10/month into it!) which I'll have to use but still going to be short
On the positive side (still trying to find one when things are tough!) - both freezers are absolutely jam packed
I stopped at Farm*foods the other day as was in the town where it is and OMG I can't believe how cheap it is - some bags of veg were 3 for £2!:T Before anyone asks - nope I still can't eat veg but got it for Maisie!!!!!
Have just dug out a chicken for tomorrow so will have that roasted & then pick it and make stock and probably have risotto too ... yum!
Oops - rambling again!:o
Hope everyone is wellGrocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)
