Sorry to hear you feel bad.. Hugs xxApril 2021 Grocery Challenge 34.29 / 2500

So .... had a couple of texts from my pal - this morning Mia ventured (briefly!) out of the safety of her igloo bed (which I managed to get in between the sofa / wall so she felt safe)
Have had another this afternoon ...... "crazy cat has made herself comfortable on the sofa"
So glad she's ventured out ..... so sad it's not here .....
Archie's hardly set foot outside today (not like him) so I think the new cats are obviously getting to him too - which will no doubt have made things even worse if both their stress levels have been through the roofGrocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

So - it's a lovely sunny morning so will be taking Maisie to the beach shortly - once the washing is safely on the line making full use of the sun & wind
House is still really empty without Mia hereI absolutely hate being upstairs by myself (and not something I can ever really remember happening before!)
BUT I have a HUGE problem ...... I can't find my card for my bank account
It rarely leaves the house - I have a thing like a mini-calculator thing that I have to put my PIN into and get a code to log into my bank account and I usually leave it in there apart from a couple of times a month when I need to take cash out
I can remember taking it out with me and getting cash at Mr T and I'm pretty positive that I used some of the cash to put in the envelope for the window cleaner (so must've brought it back into the house?) but I can't find it anywhere
My wee purse that I use when walking the dog (it fits a couple of cards & notes & that's about it) is also missing so it must be in there ..... but where!
Honestly starting to panic - I've moved everything from "my corner" in the lounge (which tends to build up a bit of mess) and it's not there .... not in the car .... not in the kitchen .....
If I can't find it today I'll have to report it missing  but I get paid next week and need to be able to log in to move funds between my accounts  AND I've got the princely sum of £7.60 to my name ..... in 20p coins

I hope you find the bank card soon.
Sooooooo sorry to read about the cats. I can only imagine how hard that was for you.
Have you started back FT yet? How are you finding it?
Take care, and if there's anything you need (ie you can't find your purse) just yell and I can pop down with emergency cash no problems at all. Hi sorry to hear about the cat, hope you can take some comfort from knowing she is in a good place and you can hear how she's doing.
r.e. bank card, when I had to cancel my card and wait for a new one the bank arrange for me to get some cash from a nominated post office and take some I.d. with me. This is with the same bank as you are with, it won't help with the logging on but will be good if you need funds when you get paid.

It's not been the best month of a not great year TBHroll on next year as I really need a fresh start and to try to find my MSE mojo again:)
I start back FT again this coming week  - I'm feeling loads better :T so really glad I did cut back for a while, even though it's meant the finances have taken a pretty big hit
Will let you know how it goes - I'll probably be shattered by Wedskissjenn~You are awesome.

You are all awesome :T
It's really annoying me as it must be in the wee purse as I can't find that - it surely has to be in the house somewherebut running out of places to look. I've been through every pocket of tops / bottoms that I can think of and through drawers etc
I've even sorted through a huge bag of filing / junk mail (so that was a good job to get done as it's not been done for ages:o) in case it'd fallen in there somehowChrysalis1976 wrote: »r.e. bank card, when I had to cancel my card and wait for a new one the bank arrange for me to get some cash from a nominated post office and take some I.d. with me.
Ohhh thanks for thatif I can't find it by tomorrow I'll have to report it missing and will ask about that. There's not a branch of my bank where I live so it's a bit of a PITA sometimes!
Just back from a lovely, but very windy walk with Maisie on the big beautiful beach :T and she's snoozing on the sofa.

So .... I have been moved to leave the F1 (which IS a big deal, believe me - even if I am just watching it on my tiny screen online as it's not on the BEEB live .....)
KissJenn I really don't know what to say ...... thank you doesn't seem to even start to cover it ..... but it's all I've got just now so ... thank you ... for the lovely card (which has actually made me cry) and the wonderful goody box (which I haven't got to the bottom of yet - as I've been side tracked with some rather yummy chocolate
) ETA and there's some fab books in there (which is fab as I've run out!) and some emergency cash (much appreciated!) and a wonderful bottle of "grown up pop" (hehe) and some lovely smellies and treats for me & Maisie & Archie ..... stunned .... thank you xx
*sigh* this site and the wonderful people I've been lucky enough to meet in RL through it - and those of you who I haven't but chat to - are really awesome :T

It's very little and hopefully a boost to the start of a challenging week. The very least Maisie and Archie would want for you.:A Let us be grateful to people who make us happy: they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom. Marcel Proust :A0
