House and Car
Again, initially doesn't look too bad!
But .... once the fuel's deducted .....
AND the car tax is due at the end of Feb, so that's £100 to come off the balance..... and then there's those winter tyres:eek: (which are absolutely FAB and I wouldn't really have wanted to be without them this week:o)Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

OK .... that's me done with the figures - for now anyway:rotfl:
Pots seem to be working well - quite happy with how they're split as well and they seem fairly (to me:o) logical .... fingers crossed I've got it cracked!:) (it's only been nearly 20 years since I left home)

No, no NO!
It's taken .... 20 YEARS for me to get to this point!:rotfl:
You are both way ahead of me by the fact that you've found :money:
The pot spreadsheets are very simple - literally the totals page (which is the one I've copied) and a sheet for each pot which shows one credit in each payday and one (if needed) out to cover spends on the c/card .... simples!:D
It does seem to be helping as I don't *think* I'm stressing about money as much?Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

Wedgie side?
Do you mean the west?
Hope you are ok.
Hope you are not too tired & roads were ok.
Weegie ( no doubt autocorrect will change that as well) for us locals means Glasgow ... I dare say different places have different names for different things though ... And not all of them can be family friendly
Yep that's the one I was talking about rising ... I didn't know there were two0 -
Feeling lazy now:o the initial energy of 1st thing has worn off already :rotfl:
Think I may go to P@H tomorrow.
I had a look at their website to see if it's worthwhile and ....
Dog's wet trays - I get 2 types:
Type one are 98p each but are on buy 18 for the price of 16 and if I then take off the 10%, it drops the price of each one to 78p - 20p saved / tray is pretty good:T.
The only place I can get cheaper means buying in huge quantities (3 packs of 18) which is obviously a lot bigger outlay in one go- they work out at 71p each.
Type 2 come in boxes of 12 and with the 10% off are coming in at 68p each - which is 20p saved on buying them individually :T. Unfortunately I can only get these in one flavour (that Maisie can eat) which is why I like to have some of Type 1 as well.
Cats wet food
Type 1 are on 12 for the price of 9 then - 10% are coming in at 28p instead of 42p each so quite good savings there
Type 2 are also 12 / 9 and coming out at 39p instead of 58p each
mmmm thinking it may be worth the trip - it's just bloomin' annoying that you can't use the voucher online
I also have a voucher to use at M&S so the saving on that one will just about cover fuel costsGrocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)
