    Where roughly is the Fort?

It's on the East Lothian side of Edinburgh - basically right on the outskirts of Edinburgh and literally just at the border with EL (so really the nearest big shopping place for us)

Thanks Rising, very appreciated. And if I can help you in anyway, please let me know.

You've a photo early on in your diary which first gave me the hint of where you lived...we are blessed as it's a lovely area.

Ahhhhhhh :D had to go & have a look ..... that'll be the one on the beach with "the rock in the sea" and "the volcano"?:rotfl:

It's around 15 mins away and we'll usually have at least one walk there every week ..... we are indeed very lucky and I honestly can't think of another county I'd rather live in :)

I've lived from nearly one end of the UK to the other (I've moved something ridiculous like 32 times :o) and the only other place that even comes close is York .....

Funnily enough .... I'd been taking about "the fort" on another thread and there's a girl there who lives over the west side and she thought I meant this one http://www.glasgowfort.co.uk/

Never been so don't know if it's the same selection of shops ...
