Waitose hampers lots half price and 25% code, cheap book sets too £3.50

My orders both say 'being prepared' ne order contains a fresh hamper along with a store cupboard hamper, the other is a store cupboard one. I am hoping they don't get cancellled, they are presents. Between this and the norfolk hampers, I think I might have a breakdown before Christmas!

arghhhh poppie, they are idiots. I ticked that box and just had an e mail 10pm to say that my hampers have been dispatched. Both my hampers were due after 19th

I`m going to ring them tomorrow. I am furious

yes the cheese tray and a refresher one, so maybe it will just be the cheese tray but both hampers are on the despatched list

If they weren`t such a bargain, then I would just refuse to accept the delivery but that would be silly as they were so cheap. I am going to have to clear some freezer space tomorrow, just in case. Terrible really, waitrose needs to get its act together, seems very amateurish

I wonder, only one of mine have been dispatched and that is the order for the refresher and the book, it shows both items as being sent but it's made me think that actually only the book had.
For some reason it shows both items as sent even though only one had. Does that make sense lol

the cheese box arrived just now, the 3 cheeses are all dated from end of jan to march so are fine in the fridge. They don`t take up a lot of room the tray they were in is nice and perfect for me to take to dd for christmas day but I will be adding more cheeses

I also just received another despatch e mail so it looks as though the refresher hamper is on its way and I`ll just have to store the cheese in fridge and sliced meat and smoked salmon in the freezer

8/10 for value but 4/10 for seeming chaotic re delivery

I don`t think I`ll be diving in next year

For crying out load, i really am not having any luck with delivery companies.
I was able to track my waitrose order online (being delivered by citylink)

Today at 10.30 knock at the door from Citylink to say he was picking up a parcel in the name of Pearson. I looked at him blankly and said no but i am expecting a parcel from yourselves today. He said oh ok and went on his way.

After he had gone i realised he might have the wrong address so went to my tracking to find it saying delivered to porch :mad: I don't even have a porch.

20 mins on hold on the phone to citylink and the girls tells me that she can send me a photo of where it was delivered to so i can go and get it if i want.

Well honestly, i got a photo of the bottom of a white pvc door and the parcel against some bricks. It could be one of 50 houses round here and hardly left in a porch, more like in full view of the road.

They have apparently messaged the driver and i have been told he has realised his mistake and will go and get it (wherever the hell it is) later and deliver it to me.

I give up!!

Well.... I got my parcel, the delivery man delivered it to the wrong road but he was able to relay back to Citylink what one it was.

Luckily for me me friend lives 4 doors down and so she walked up and there was my parcel.

It was only the book, no hampers(thank god) and having just spoke to Waitrose customer services i have been assured that neither of the two fresh hampers i ordered will go out before the 19th. We will see!

Well my cheese cooler was on my doorstep when I got home! (Together with an elc delivery). Why would you leave in on the doorstep on full view of everyone! I left the house at 6am so I have no idea how long it has sat there, I am on the phone to ask....I am sure it said delivery after 19th too!
