OS daily Sat 21st April 2007

Hi, this is the Daily Thread for 21th April 07. This is an “over the garden fence” type thread where we chat about everything OS and maybe a little bit more. It’s a great, inspiring and motivating thread we start each day to discuss what we’re going to do today or what we’ve achieved already. Everyone’s welcome, please do come in, put your feet up (although check the fence hasn’t just been painted first!) and join us for an OS natter. The more the merrier!
When you make a post, if you feel like giving it a title, that will help others that don’t have the time to read everything skim through the thread quickly but if not it's not a problem, we’re a laid back bunch here so you won’t hear any complaints. Please do not start a new daily thread before you go to bed at night because this often leaves things confusing with two daily threads live at the same time. The idea is that a member would start each new daily thread after they get up in the morning
Some people who chat here like to try to answer everyone. Don’t feel you have to though, a general “hi everyone, hope everyone’s well” type start does just as well.
Morning. Just thought I would start this. I am off fishing now... 30 miles out of Plymouth. Can't wait. Hoep you guys have a great day....

Good Morning
Thanks for all the Happy Birthday messages you left on Thursday:) I had a lovely day being quite, quite lazy!!
I managed to do all on the Flylady list yesterday (OK, so it wasn't a huge list!), and for the week of flying my home is definitely looking much tidier and there are less dust monsters lurking around in nooks and crannies. It makes me feel really chuffed with myself.
Hayfever season has startedFeeling awful this morning - all snotty, sneezy and itchy (sounds like three of Snow Whites little guys!!). Can't afford any tablets this week, last year ASDA had some for something like 98p, so I hope they have them in next week when I will make sure I leave some room in the shopping budget for them.
Jobs for today are to spend a little time in our bedroom declutttering and to spend some time planting up some seeds to start off in the mini greenhouse.
Have a lovely day today and hugs to anyone who needs them.0 -

Morning All.
I'm another early riser. This morning my 13 year old DD wasnts a girlie shopping trip into town with her dear old ma because my OH is working in America this week and next. I'm making the most of this as I know that soon going on shopping trips with mum will be the most un-cool thing in the world.
oldMcDonald. Sorry to hear that you are already feeling bad with the hayfever.
donny-gal. Enjoy your coffee.
N9eav enjoy fishing.to everyone who wants or needs them.

Morning all
I love Saturdays, off to the auction to see if we can bag any bargains, then this afternoon I want to plant a magnolia bush and play in my new greenhouse. My seeds are doing really well, I can't believe they are all growing - musn't speak too soon, if we have a frost, I will have to start all over again
Indian takeaway tonight, I know it's not very OS, but by the time I have bought all the spices, it would probably cost as much, and not taste as nice
Hope everyone has a good day, and the sun shines as promisedYou're only young once, but you can be immature forever0 -
Morning! Nice and bright here today, I'm pondering on whether to plant out my veggie seedlings into their final homes or whether it's still a bit early??? I have aubergine plants which are HUGE and which I really think should go out but I don't want the frost to get 'em.
Plans today are to [STRIKE]force[/STRIKE] ask DH to mend my broken washing line, and also to put back the brackets for my hanging basket which fell out of the wall when it rained so hard the basket couldn't take any more:o . He's had a stressful and busy week so I won't be too hard on him;) I have several other baby plants which need attention but I need to read my gardening books before I do anything too dramatic with them.
Must go and put another loaf in the BM, I'm planning on doing a HM pizza for dinner and need the BM to be ready and waiting to do the dough later on for me.
Have a lovely Saturday, everyone!
Breakfast: toast and marmalade
Lunch: ham salad
Dinner: HM pizza with the rest of the salad

Also discovered that BOOTS do a cheepie one that is EXACTLY the same as the more expensive ones ingredent wise just a plainer box. They cost £ 1.15 (that is for the non drowsy LORATADINE) Hope the fishing goes well N9eav,((((((((HUGS))))))))))) to all that may need or want them.donny-gal have a nice day.
