Although if it had been sent by Royal Mail standard parcel there would be even less information on where it is. Somewhere in Royal Mail's black hole between the post office the recipient.0

I bought a £400 item and it was being delivered by MyHermes. No sign of it and the rep on here even looked into it and could find no trace of the tracking number used.
Seller sent me a 2nd one and then 2 arrived.
I did wind the seller up and he swore at me
I bet he was glad to get the extra one back though. Seen lots of bad reviews but been OK with them so far.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
AVOID MyHERMES!
They are cheap, but you get what you pay for. I've waited a week for a pick-up and customer service has been non existent. 8 calls and various online 'chats' and no answer as to why my parcel hasn't been picked up. Over an hour wasted and LOADS of frustration with what is basically lying each day. Use them if the parcel isn't important and you're not in a hurry but not for any other reason.0 -
Arghhh, I'm having real issues with collection only items and people wanting me to send.
I've now got a 4kg parcel that was collection only but I have agreed to send via courier. I checked ebay and for that weight could have got Parcelforce 48 for just under £8. Charged that plus enough to cover a lot of packing and a very thick double sided box and now because it was a collection only item the option to print Parcelforce via ebay has disappeared. If I buy Parcelforce direct on paypal it is £11.99.
Unfortunately this is complicated as the item is part resin which couriers like DPD and MyHermes won't carry - so any suggestion for a 4kg package (length 65 cms x 17 x 17cm) value £28 part resin?I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. If you describe it as plastic is that acceptable? Maybe they are excluding liquid resin in the same way they would refuse to carry paint.
The problem is that I sold this as a resin item, so if I did need to claim it would be obvious. I had a claim turned down once before on MyHermes for a 'resin' item - but this new thing is packed so well I wonder if I might risk it?I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Has anyone seen results yet from the new *delivery confirmation* with Royal Mail parcels and printing labels within eBay yet by any chance?Warning: any unnecessary disclaimers appearing under my posts do not bear any connection with reality, either intended, accidental or otherwise. Can't find them anywhere at all on my business account. Checking parcels for tracking or confirmation just brings up 'not available on this service'.

Yes I understand it's not available on all services, but I was thinking that, when I've heard it's fully working, of using it instead of our signed for franked parcels (on low value items).Warning: any unnecessary disclaimers appearing under my posts do not bear any connection with reality, either intended, accidental or otherwise.
