# 137 Reporting an overpayment of 1000.00 GBP for October.
I've fallen behind for the last two months as life has thrown a couple of curve balls, however I'm hoping that it is all behind me and I can catch up.
I've had a quick scroll through the spreadsheet and would like to say 'Congratulations' to all the Mortgage Free Achievers. Well done, and I'm really excited for those of us who are in the last stages of their Mortgage Free Wanabee journey, reading about you is a real inspiration. A big pat on the back to those still making payments, even if like me you're a little sporodic at least we're still here.
Hoping to do a Tilly Tidy before the end of the month0 -

Hi everyone,
#123 checking in with my early November OP of £1,000.
I'm hoping to maybe top this up in a few weeks' time but November is an expensive (insurance) month for me so we'll see. Nevertheless, I can only OP a further £936 for the rest of the year anyway, and I think my target of a further £900 is achievable all being well.
Thanks as always to VoucherMan for the regular updates!
Well done to LB and NPU - how exciting it must be to be on the brink of MF!MFW 2017 #123 2018: £1,852.64/£39,200 (4.7%)0 -

It's all the more exciting to be sharing it with all you lovely forum people, who fully understand the hard work, sacrifices and dedication it takes to get to this point :money:.
In the real world, I'm "lucky" to be able to pay my mortgage off...hmmm....yep, that's me, just born lucky ....only one or two friends understand what it really means.
Just knowing that from tomorrow morning, whatever happens, NO ONE can take the roof from over my head is a truly tremendous feeling. :T
Of course, it's a roof that needs repairing, but hey, it's mine, all mine :rotfl:0 -
Just checked my bank account, and my money has been transferred overnight to pay off my mortgage :T. I don't think I'll believe it until I see the zero balance on my mortgage account and have my deeds, though.
I woke at 5am with a great sense of achievement.
Thanks to everyone on this and previous threads (not to mention all those fabulous MFW diaries)for keeping me going when I was ready to flag. I really wouldn't have managed this without your inspiration.
whooo hoooo!!!!!!!!!!! :j0 -
Well done LavenderBees, it's a great achievement - enjoy freedom0
