congrats!! :D Roll on Christmas eh? :rudolf:

    Thanks everyone.

I will joint the "mortgage free roll of honour" thread on 4th Nov.

In hindsight I wished I had a bit more fun over the past 4 years, probably my only regret but at least it takes away worry with either job insecurity or paying more interest to my lender than I needed to.

Keep up the good work fellow forum over payers. :)
  • Hi guys....Southportguy (106) reporting early for October.

So pleased with progress, as at start of year I had 92K mortgage with 5K on CC
Now....NO CC and mortgage down to £46679

I had thought once I broke the 50K mortgage barrier I would feel the need to chill and slow down on payments..... but this is all quite addictive! So my new chill out target is under £40K!
SO no rest for the wicked. Repayments will slow right down for the last few months of the year due to VAT and other payments / demands

So..... time to state repayment for October ....... a fantastic, better than hoped, £13797

    Hooray!

Congrats to you both on becoming MF!! What an achievement :T

I'm having to come to a stand still this year with OP'ing. My car failed its MOT which cost over £400 to fix, that along with paying for daughters Christening and Christmas gifts, my savings have took a hammering :(. I think I need to keep my head screwed on and build my saving back up to 5k before OP'ing again. Hope I can join this thread in 2014 ;). Will keep nipping on here to see how your all doing :D

    xx
