  • Just made September's £500 overpayment. I think I am going to be bold, and up my target to the maximum £6000 I'm allowed. It may be a bit tight to manage the £500 extra each month with Christmas coming, but I'm more likely to do it if I commit myself to it here!

Am even hoping there will be some over to put towards our debts and will then be back on full time debt busting

Well done on all of the over payments and thanks everyone for the amazing support :D

Stupid to be feeling anxiety about it, isn't it? I hadn't expected mixed emotions :o

Just sent an OP of £19.42 to round our OP total for the year to £9000. I think I will try to resist OPs now as on maternity leave. Will let our current accounts build up a bit while I can to allow for falling income in the coming months. And have plans for days out etc in lead up to Christmas, a log cabin holiday with friends in March. So can't promise I'll stay away. MFW addict ;) But I am happy with £9000 in 9 months and don't want to be stressing about accidentally going into overdraft etc while I'm distracted by our imminent arrival. Good luck to all of you with the rest of 2013!
