    :santa2: Hello everyone xx

A slow start this morning - I've decluttered tea and toast, put the rubbish/recycling out and fed the birds. YAWN...was woken up at 2.30am by prolonged loud banging - think someone next door must have been locked out - and now I'm tired round the edges IYKWIM.

Need to find my GUAG - anyone seen it? Could have gone on holiday with other flyladies GUAG....if yours is missing, it's probably sunning itself with mine somewhere warm and tanny :D

Right *sets shoulders and looks determined* I'm going to:

    load WM
    wash pots
    make beds

Charlie has put his head under his wing and gone back to sleep...bet the banging woke him up too. Or mybe it's just hard work being a budgie :)

    See you later xx

    Good morning :D

I am up & dressed, and DH has made me a bacon sarnie :T
I didn't get much done on my case study yesterday :( I am not inspired. I know once I get going on a roll I will be ok - but I can't get going. I did write out a few Christmas cards though :) (obviously a procrastinating technique - I am good at them!)

DH is heading out with the dog in a mo (he has already been pottering in the kitchen & put on the DW) and then I think he is going into town with DS to do some Christmas shopping (at Ds's request). I might get him to pick up a snow shovel while he is out. Apparently, according to Sky News, the 'Beast from the East' cold weather front is heading for London & the SE next week  Hopefully they are scaremongering, as there is no mention on the BBC weather forecast.

*stops to chat to ex-colleague who has come to deliver box of wine bottles* DH is now happily filling the wine rack :)

    Ok - plan for today:
[STRIKE]post the few cards I have written[/STRIKE] DH going to town
[STRIKE]sort out cheque & letter for DH to deliver to church for art group[/STRIKE] DH :T
write out some more (say about 20)
put a few items on ebay (aim for 5)
case study (aim for 750 words) WIP 516 done
    [STRIKE]put on WM[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]make a shopping list[/STRIKE]
clear a hot spot (in DR)
    [STRIKE]clean toilets & sinks[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]pick up book ordered from town[/STRIKE] DH going to town

I am going to set up my laptop on the DR table now, as i may get more done there

    Morning all

lazy morning here for all of us. I'm going to bag first shower now then wash the bathroom floor.

Done well with the flying this week so weekend plan is paperwork, christmasy stuff and a bit of shopping.

Skintbreeder are you nesting by any chance? Your posts are never ending with stuff done..you make me tired just reading them :rotfl:

Natty Guilty as charged - with DD1 & 2 & 3 I was at the paid stuff til 36 weeks, then nesting/flying only ever got as far as the kitchen as I would have a good sort through the cupboards and freezer so the Ex could find ready meals & cans that he could nuke

20 years on things don't change, both him and his sister refuse to wash or peel vegetables, and if food looks too much like an animal or vegetable they refuse to eat it :eek::eek:- ie tomato puree on a pizza base is acceptable but tomato slices on a pizza is not :p

a chicken kiev is fine, but bringing a whole turkey to the table with wings and legs attached is not

The bad luck nesting omen was always mopping the floor at stupid o'clock - with both DD1 and DD2 after mega nesting sessions, I picked myself up off the floor after drying and buffing it with a towel only for my waters to break all over my lovely clean floors :(:(

With DS I had carpel tunnel very early on and then my pelvis started to separate so I was put on crutches and paid stuff done from home on lappy - until I couldn't sit comfortably to work and I went on maternity at 29 weeks!

With this flybaby I have not been at the paid stuff at all, but got my butt into gear in anticipation of the same thing - as long as I keep massaging my forearms and wrists I can do stuff with the carpel tunnel, and touch wood, so far my hips are ok.......but it's like a ticking time bomb without a clock, the chances are it's going to go off before you can diffuse it, but you don't know how long you have got :eek::eek::eek::eek:

But floor cleaning and kickboards scare the c**p out of me at the moment, as I see sooooooo much else that I really want to get done before I get taken in - I don't want my waters to break through over-exertion, so when I can't sleep at night I try to get a bit done rather than count the nobbles in the artexed ceiling :D:D:D, and then try and rest up with DS during the day:rotfl:

I promise I will take it easy with less exhausting posts when flybaby gets here;)
ah well, time for a cuppa and a lurk, then decide what to crack off the list!

    Hello!

Been cooking. Made stew and dumplings, mince pies and jam tarts, and nigella's chilli jam.

Kitchen cleaned up after though. Need to have a sort in playroom this aft, it think. Getting a bit jumbled. Will also do kids beds. Not that they are sleeping in them  I haven't had a decent nights sleep recently. Ended up in spare room, while they slept in my bed, at goodness knows what time this morning. DS was awake hourly. He does seem better today though.

Going to a friends for lunch tomorrow. Taking pannetone and mini chocolate logs. And cream ;)
Got another friend coming for tea before christingle. Will do nachos. Hmm. Maybe it would help if I make the topping tonight too. Might just make bolognese and stir in chilli jam for us grown ups...

    Good plan!

Hubby hoovered downstairs and washed the floor
I've taken DS1 to the chiropodist, made soup, done lunch for DS3 and DH.

DH going to take DS2 to work next (hopefully with DS3 in tow) and I'm going in the garden to cut greenery for my reef etc.
