    Oven sparkling!

Bath, which has had chrome shelves soaking in it, is not.

Lamewolf I forgot to say, I use loo roll all the time when have a cold - good quality stuff is a lot gentler on the nose than budget tissues but as a guest in someone else's house, after a couple of days I'd buy a box of tissues.
    Better is good enough.

Sometimes charity shops welcome plastic bags. Particularly the smaller charity shops.:A

My CS is always extremely grateful for plastic bags, as well as newspaper and bubble wrap. We are lucky not to need hangers as we have plenty; however as short bird says, there are places that would love them. And if you came into my shop with size cubes I would hug you and kiss you A LOT :j

witchy I hope you are over the flu and can treat us to a little post? :D

I am wearing thermals under my fleecy PJs. No wonder I'm single lol.

    Have a good evening all.

I'm on pick up for DS2 for work so I've chatted to sil who's been very down. Ordered my sis's present for DS2.

Been hunting the internet for coats like Alex Fergusons, anybody seen any for sale?

  • Evening all

Did some ironing today, but not much else.

    I know, I am lazy.

Will crack on tomorrow and Sunday.

    Hope everyone is well

    Love, hugs and spoons xxx

  • After 2 full days work my back was mega achey so evening spent on sofa under blanket. Lie in till 11 this morning also helped. When I was mopping the shop floor last night it took me between 5 & 10 seconds to fully straighten up each time after bending to mop. Is this normal at 45?:o

Bonnie - perhaps you should pop to the Doctor/Hospital this weekend at let them have a look at you as a precautionary measure - remember you went with a clatter on the ice this week and perhaps you have jarred something. Better to be safe than sorry.

well all the beds are stripped; almost all of them remade.

What I need is an extra day in the week..or three.

letter from docs re my annual asthma review. Time to book it apparently...

I vaguely remember being under the hospital for a 'tight, wheezy chest' some 40+ years ago....

this seems to have been a l-o-n-g time coming, then :rotfl:

Unless, of course, there another Valli registered...

Morning everyone, up early for some reason today..lol. DH is off playing Santa at his local steam strain place so he is getting ready to go off - well at the moment he is walking the two horror dogs :D My younger dog decided I had to get up before he went out, he came in the bedroom and bounced on the bed until I got up.. Oh well early shower then I can get to the post office to post my delayed Cross Stitch Exchange :D I will be posting my other bits later this week :D

Life got in the way this week what with one thing and another, but I intend on knuckling down today. I was hoping my builder friend would be back to finish off the kitchen ceiling today but he has had to go to work, so that's another day on hold. Never mind I shall still do the things I was intending on doing if he had been here :D

Valli that has to go down in history for the longest wait for an asthma check up/doctors appointment..lol. I know the NHS is bad but surely not that bad...... :D Or they've just found your paperwork at the Drs surgery..:rotfl:

Skintbreeder are you nesting by any chance? Your posts are never ending with stuff done..you make me tired just reading them :rotfl:

WB to the returnees - it's so nice to see the old regular names on here again.

Oh well must get showered and then look at what I need to do first - oh yes reboot the washing machine with this horrible washing mountain that never goes down..lol

Am thinking I should turn my heating off and whether that would make me get going with jobs etc.. I would need to keep warm afterall :D And I have had the heating on low during the day anyway and it's lovely snuggled up on the sofa sometimes :D

    Morning All

Well I've been awake half of the night but instead of being busy like skint breeder, I've been curled up on the settee watching tv. I'd just about managed to nod off when DS came downstairs and woke me up. I'm now undecided whether to try and go back to sleep for a bit, jump in the bath or get some stuff done.

    Have a good day all

    Hugs

Morning all. Well I have a few days away from the paid stuff now as I'm going to be doing family Xmas down south so I suppose I'll be off the flying as well. So far today, I've had breakfast, fed and medicated dogs and made up some fizzy drinks and spent ages on these forums.

But its mind over matter and my usual optimistic self when it comes to flying so here is my list for today in no particular order:

Wash up (No, I didn't do it last night again)
Write birthday cards and post them
    Walk dogs
    Vacuum and sweep through house
Go to craft fair (before 1pm when it finishes)
Catch up on reading local rag
    Me time doing puzzles
Make cheesecake from the takeaway secret (when DH comes home with the weekly shop)
    Maybe refer to list
    Wrap some more Xmas pressies

And there's probably much more I should be doing.

Had an email about no listing fees this weekend on e*ay if its any use to anyone. Not sure if I can be bothered to have a sort out.

Have a great day everyone. I may be back with an update later.
Spend less now, work less later.
