:santa2:Boddy, I saw Craftyscholar the other day as well
Having come back and flown through one week I sort of dropped out again.
I do not like winter. Had to go out today - app. at surgery for flu jab. Roads might be clear, but the pavements are lethal. I walked in the road, stepping into the edge when I heard a car.
I was thinking about Greenbee and toots and AnW's mum when I came back and looked around to see who was still here.0 -

Mine are not in catchment, but they are in the borough. They travel about 3 miles to school and at the moment they are getting a lift with a friend :T DS hates being late, and was getting very twitchy yesterday. How old are your children, Lisa?
Huge (((hugs))) to Mumto5 & Valli
We have decluttered a post 16 parents evening. DH ended up not seeing the teachers, as DD2 had wound him up & he had stomped off. There is still an atmosphere in hereHe had a bad day at work, which didn't help.
Not much flying here tonight - even had a maccy d's for teaI have decluttered some choccies from a tin though!
Hugs, sticks and spoons for any that need them xx0 -
Evening all, ironing all done, ran out of hangers some how though.
GI DS2's PE teacher picked him up at the bus stop this morning and took him into school (he is in IV form), how nice was that, it is about 15 minutes in the car but bus takes a longer route and obviously keeps stopping.
JJ I was unwell for about 8 days in total, luckily it did not hang around and I am completely fine now
Valli hugs

Have dosed the dog her evening meds (4), done loads in the new machine (5), am about to brave Lovely Lodger's version of outside with Dog: 'Freezing rain' - but she is Sardinian. Forecast is fine for the next 36 hours, so cold would be good and right, rain is not. Lovely Lodger left me an almond croissant for breakfast 'because they're so good, I had to share it.'
I'm still picking Nightmare Lodger's hairs out of various spots ten days after she left, but I think I've managed to get the mascara stains off the pillowcases at last.
I've finally worked out the loo roll mystery. I'd been avoiding Nightmare Lodger (on account of the slaps she might have received if I'd had to have a conversation with her) and noticed she was v. snuffley. I asked her if she had a cold, and her response?
'I only sneeze in very cold weather, which obviously this isn't' [we'd had -2, but hey ho, what's that to an American?] and when I come across mould. I've been photocopying old research papers.' I just get tired of the constant need for drama. She had a cold, and was too mean to buy a box of tissues, End Of. Mystery solved, and as soon as I can clean without getting tangled up in her decluttered hair I can forget her, but I thought everyone who offered a possible explanation deserved to know how one person can get through two loo rolls between 10.00 pm and 8.00 am. It probably looked very pretty sitting on her desk.
Lovely Lodger was thrilled NL left, 'Thank Goodness. Now her alarm won't wake me up at 5.00 am every morning!' 'Mmm Thank you, yes I will have a glass of Proseco to celebrate.'Better is good enough.0 -

Huge hugs to Mumto5 and Valli xx
I have just reduced my email inbox from 45 pages to 22 & half.
Lots of errands ran today and few frog eaten.
I'm off to Hogwarts with DS2 tomorrow. Hope the journey is ok. I will wave to any of you that we pass. Better go to bed as we have to leave about 7am.
Hugs to anyone else that needs them.0
