I wrapped a few presents this moring after the school run. Drove over to our old neighbourhood for the funeral, it was good to see familiar faces.
I came home via Mr T, did a weekly shop and came home. Then my world crashed in. DS1 has quit college, he's so far behind with his assisgnments that he has quit. I am devastated. Regulars will remember that DS1 was housebound and unable to get a job from November 2010 to September 2012 following an abortive apprenticeship in 2010. His disruptive behaviour during this time affected the whole house.
It feels like there is an elephant sitting on my chest.0 -

Early tea at yorkietowers for me and DD1 - we are off to the cinema to see Gambit - the reviews are not brilliant but it's got both colin Firth and Alan Rickman in ....... I'd happily pay to hear either/both read me the phone book.....

Many :grouphug::grouphug::grouphug: to Mumto5..... I know this must be hard for you - I remember quite how much your DS1's behaviour affected the whole family in the past.
Can he get an appointment with a careers advisor?
Feel free to pm if you want someone to offload to - the offer of a DS swap is still on the table...:jFlylady and proud of it:j0 -

Uh, oh, Wolfy's failed again.:( All Flying suspended for remainder of the week; I can barely move enough to type a post, let alone wield a duster.
Stop right there friend. You have in absolutely no way whatsoever failed. Right now you cannot fly but does not mean you don't want to or that you can be excused from being here. I'm running the show and have not done a jot today so there! Stick around and cheer us on from the sidelines and those who are slacking, chuck a fluffy mule at them.
Mumto5 hugest hugs. I hope things don't go back to how they were, he is a couple of years older now (if not wiser yet). Get him filling in that CA form so that there is light at the end of the tunnel for both of you x
Meeting decluttered, having a cuppa now and sorting a couple of emails then I'll find my list. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0
