Hi I don't often come in to the compers chat corner but saw this thread, read through it and I agree with everything :rotfl: what I mean is yes bumping is very annoying it drives me up the wall and I've only been doing this since September, but like some on here I put all the comps in to thread start time order and I don't see the bumping as much I only notice it because the title of the thread goes bold.
I was about 5 days behind on my comping when the advents started its got to the point now that there are so many and coz use an iPad I can't get in to many of them I just skip them now completely.
Don't let it get you down bluebella, I know how you feel I started comping due to a breakdown I had mid year but I do it for fun and I try not to forget that, so what if I don't get any further back than page 70 and so what if people have different styles of comping each to their own.
At the end of the day it's a shared hobby that everyone on here has that's why we are all here everyday and its Xmas soon lets try and find a bit of good spirit, the madness will be over soon enough
x
Huge thanks to everyone who takes the time and effort to post all the comps! :T

Just feel like having a quick vent here - bumping with a wrong answer when the correct answer for the day has already been posted, I mean why? If you didn't agree with the answer fair enough but when it is right and has been confirmed why post with a different answer?
ok rant overRational judgement, now, at this very moment.
Virtuous action, now, at this very moment.

Willing acceptance - now, at this very moment - of what you can’t change0 -
Have to agree with those who have said that there is an easy solution to this, which is to use the 'Thread Start Time' view. It's ridiculously simple to do. Personally I find it very helpful to have people add the new link, prize, question and answer. I think it's a bit silly to complain about people adding helpful information to a thread when it takes two clicks for it to not affect you. If you view it this way, the threads will never move whether they're bumped or not. I agree that people posting they've won etc is unnecessary - but again, there's no reason why it should affect your comping!2018 wins: Aspinal of London jewellery box, Boudavida gym outfit, HP Pavilion laptop, The List party tickets, All Points East festival tickets, Kiehls moisturiser, By Terry cc serum, Nars Liquid Bronzer, Benefit highlighter, Nars illuminator, Fresh advanced lip trio set, Cetaphil sample set, signed copy of My Absolute Darling by Gabriel Tallent0

I wanted to thank Tinktinktinkerbell for the bump of the advent posts - makes my life easier too.
I can click the 'thanks' whether I enter of not but means I know I have visited that thread that day, there are so many advents I would never remember otherwise.
I agree with Velocity too. When I want to do other new comps I just re sort using the filters at the bottom of the forum.Jo x2007:£5181.09 2008: £6619.70 2009: £4284.49 2010: £5213.14 2011: £4980.62 2012: £3188.52
