Bumping Advent Threads

I added something into the technical suggestions about threads being bumped:

I sometimes feel bad that if I answer someone's question then I'm bumping the thread ...0 -
I agree the bumping on some threads has got out of hand but I like them being bumped once a day with prize/answer. I comp as comps are posted and I actually find it helpful to do the advents this way too each morning, checking each thread to see if I want to enter for the prize that day. When I'm up to date on the thread I then move over to the advent list and do any that I've missed.
I must admit I've been guilty of bumping if I win (only if its a bigger prize). I think that way it thanks everyone who has contributed to the thread and it inspires everyone to keep going:)0 -
I have no problem with a new link or answer being added, in fact I'm very grateful for it, but to bump with the prize is a waste of time IMO. There was even one today that had been bumped to say what the prize is tomorrow, when I could see that for myself when I entered today, as did anyone else that entered.Luck is believing you’re lucky – Tennessee Williams

I have no problems with people bumping to answer the day's question, but it is irritating when people comment stupid stuff like 'oh I put the wrong answer', 'oh, I don't like this prize'. Tough sh*t. Get over it.“It was only a sunny smile, and little it cost in the giving, but like morning light it scattered the night and made the day worth living.”

I would want people to bump with the day's prize and answer if needed. It saves me time; if it's not a prize I want or offer I would take up, I thank the poster and move on. Similarly with the answer, it saves me having to google the answer.
Bumping to say you've just got 20% off, that I don't like
this!
it makes comping faster
i dont know about others but i have all the advent pages ive saved open at once, so thats 125 tabs open at once, it saves time if someone posts the prize because it saves time having to load the page which having 125 pages open can take a while
as well as people bumping twitter/facebook comps, it saves having to look for the days tweet or the days comment to post on
i see no problem with this, if others see it as selfish than fair enough but we are all here to make peoples comping easy and to help each other0 -

You said , I'm going to bump because it will help me remember which ones ive entered as some im doing after midnight and some when i get up the following day. To me that is saying you are bumping because it suits you, not for any other reason and considering when I did my advents today you posted the prize or answer for that day when others already had posted it on at least 3 threads and some 20 minutes or more later so you were not cross posting, then helping your comping is the only reason you do do it. In my eyes that is selfish and that is my final word on it cos nothing will make me think any other.

I can understand the prize answer and I originally thought u meant that tinkerbell, but https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4319519 I don't get, it's a charm as i said in my title and my link is 2 posts above. It's up to you what u do but I saw that as needless.#JusticeForGrenfell0

regarding that
as i said i have all of my advent tabs open at once, i have them all in a folder and i open the whole folder at the same time
i didnt realise people had posted the answer/link/prize in those comps so i started refreshing the page to see if anyone had posted and if they hadnt i posted, if they had i didnt post0 -

again its for quickness, people see what charm it is and if they want it they enter if they dont they click off, again quickness0 -
Each to their own, Thanks don't mean anything to me.#JusticeForGrenfell0
