When people are careless or deliberately bumping it just spoils the fun. I am coping well with the advents but bumpers are wasting my precious time! There is no need to even say 'Thanks for posting' - people can just click the thanks button - that is what it is there for.
I believe in Khama so deliberate bumpers be warned! Hope you luck runs short! I'm having luck - and that luck keeps me going! :T:TA big thanks to all who post and sprinkling lucky dust to all who enter :smileyhea0 -

NOPE! Bad luck to those who 'deliberately' bump!:TA big thanks to all who post and sprinkling lucky dust to all who enter :smileyhea0 -
I totally agree with you, but this has been brought up before and from reading this thread people do it because it suits their way of comping.

I agree that bumping is a bit stupid, and at times darn right annoying.
but you have to keep a sense of humor, MSE is a forum and people will at times be tempted to have a chat with each other.0 -
So to clarify, it is definitely Edinburgh Castle?0

MSE users can chat in the compers corner! They can post their wins in the IWIWIW And 'chatting' isn't repeating the same answer eg 'Yes, I agree it is Edinburgh' - that is not a conversation!?:TA big thanks to all who post and sprinkling lucky dust to all who enter :smileyhea0 -
Life is too short to get upset about these things. I find bumping very annoying as well, especially four duplicate links when people have already posted it above but I just try to ignore it and move on.0

I wonder if maybe some people open the advent threads en masse and work through them so they don't realise that they're duplicating something that's already there until after they post and then don't know how to delete it (or maybe they don't even look after they've submitted their reply, they just close the thread and move on to the next one).
If you're in Thread Start Time view as mentioned in the other thread about advent bumping then it shouldn't be annoying when people bump as you won't see them, you'll only see the newly posted threads.

The bumping doesn't really affect the way I comp, but if bumping with an answer please bring forward the comp link with it.0
