Do I NEED a phone line for Sky??

I've cancelled my TV and Phone from Virginmedia but I'm keeping the broadband. I'm going to Sky for Sky+ HD. I keep reading online that Sky say you must be connected to a phoneline, I read somewhere they'll charge me £25 if I don't? I don't want one, my cable broadband doesn't require one.

Guess so, there are plenty of instances where people have received bills for two complete subscriptions when the call backs failed and warnings were ignored.

At the moment,you could have your multi-room at another address entirely and Sky would be none the wiser.
