You new sig looks good, it won't be too long before you have you smaller debts scored out and only the Lloyds loan 1 remaining. When you take your car insurance in the next month or so then you will hopefully have another 30 quid to chuck at them.0

Well I had one of those evenings last night. I suddenly realised that my mobile phone charger isn't working  . Slight panic as I had very little battery left. So I am currently charging it up at work and hopefully the 2 chargers I have just ordered will arrive really quickly!! But as I managed to get one for 1p
I think I'm not doing to badly, ok I have had to pay for posting but I'm looking at about £15 for 2, not in my budget but nevermind. I'll find the extra money from somewhere.
Other than that I'm doing ok today, I found out last night that a friend of mine and her partner may be losing their jobs so looks like I'll be saving more as I wont have to go to me dance class every week with her which will save me about £15 a month :j Although it's not good for them of course.
Only one more day at work until my holiday :T so I have lodas to do and no motivation to do any of it. But my cousins wedding is on Saturday and I still have loads to sort out and not enough time to do it in. All in all I'm in for a busy few days and I have a feeling it's not going to be very money saving but I am going to try my hardest!!Current debt - £16,300Debt at worst 17/03/2011 - £18,067.62:eek::eek::ANot going anywhere else, ever again :A0 -

Hi Lucy
good luck. hope you have a good time at the wedding.0 -
Hi
The wedding was really good, we had some wonderful weather and I managed to get sun burnt  but as it's rained every day since I should complain!!
I shouldn't have worried about money on the day though as I only spent £5.00 and managed to make that and another £5.00 by acting as taxi for my uncle, we drove him home and I took him back to his car on the Sunday. So all was good.
But I've not had a very moneysaving week. I've been on holiday, stayed at home... but still. I had my car insurance renewal quote through which wasn't very good, so I have cancelled it and once I've been paid on Friday I'll take out a different policy, I just need some money for the deposit!! it doesn't look like I'm going to pay as much money off my overdraft as I wanted to this month. But I suppose anything is better than nothing. And I've proved to myself that I can actually spend sensibly and as I have one months worth of receipts I can work out when I can cut back still. I've written my cheque to pay off one of my store cards and that gets sent on Friday as I've nearly paid something off, which I really exciting!
But we shall see how We get on this week, hopefully I'll not need to take anything out of my account which means I'll had paid about £50 off my overdraft, and while it'll take ages to go if I only pay off that each month, it's a step in the right direction isn't it.Current debt - £16,300Debt at worst 17/03/2011 - £18,067.62:eek::eek::ANot going anywhere else, ever again :A0 -
Hope this is a good week for you. Re the car insurance- don't forget to get quotes via Quidco and Greasypalm, there are some good £50 cashback deals on there at the mo!Yesterday is today's memories, tomorrow is today's dreams0

With regard to your car insurance, make sure you do a search on confused and moneysupermarket to make sure you are getting the best deal.
My wife just took out a new policy as she wasn't happy with her tesco renewal price (£249). We wanted it to be under £200 and only 1 company was able to do that (Diamond - £172), many others were around £200 and Tesco would only drop down to £200 when she phoned them.
However we searched on Quidco etc but even with the money back, the prices they were quoting still worked out higher than Diamond.
So make sure you have a good hunt about and if it looks like you won't be able to get a good deal from getting cashback then phone up the various insurers and see if they can drop their prices further.0
