Just choose a dance you fancy having a go at.

One of my old dance teachers had broken her back in a car crash. The key is to only do what you feel able to. I normally told my dance partners that I had a bad back and they were always really gentle.

It would be nice to have a proper first dance though

Neither of us know anything about dancing, so wouldn't recognise a type of dance if it jumped up and bit me!

Whats the average sort of price for dance lessons? Wonder how many we'd need. Not a clue how to find a dance teacher either. There is one lady in my town who does everything for everyone, but she's MEGA expensive and we definately couldn't afford her. And she's really scary!

My dance classes cost about £5 a week (that was for an advanced level) Have a look in your local paper and see what's on. My old teachers always did the first class free.

    Glad you liked it!

Just got back from Lunch... Had my card declined!!! Apparently the cheque I thought had cleared hadn't. So they have increased my OD so I have some money and then set a decreasing limit of £50 each month.

Not really what I wanted but nevermind. Although the panic attack I had in the bank was a bit embarassing :o

Still now I have a decreasing OD I do feel a bit better.

A decreasing OD is a good idea. Although I might need to expand mine if I don't get money shortly. I'm still waiting for my wages from exam invigilation from back in June.

    Very frustrating.

It's. To be honest I no where near max my OD, but I have a cheque for £500 that doesn't clear until tomorrow. Which is why I'm in this situation.

So I am going to try and clear it down and then get them to take the OD away completely. OD's are like my own personal war, I hate them so much. But I have a headache now from all the stress.

Awww no. Don't worry about it seriously. It's not your fault if it takes so long for a cheque to clear. And you are going to work on getting rid of it.

Seriously don't make yourself ill over it. Ok, possibly not the best attitude to take long term, but the world won't end by you being in your OD. So as a one off or a once in a while thing - it can't be helped.

I mean you have already shaved a year off your DF date, so your obviously on the right track.

I know this is very true. Just feels like I've taken a step back. But really I haven't. I'm just not dealing with things very well at the moment, but I guess that's because I'm not well really.

But it's all in the figures and I'll just try and stick to my budget and not spend any more than I need to. Really most of it is coming from my car's service... but never mind. Hopefully I'll do ok at the car book on Sunday.

Have you thought about putting an extra bit aside evey week/month that allows you to build a bit of money up so you can have a weekend (at least) away.

I promise you time removed from things offers clarity and the ability to put things into perspective! My best friend suffers bad depression (as does my sis, but hers is masked by drink prob) and she swears by removing herself from the situation and the problems.

Your health is more important than anything else.
