I have spoken to the police and as far as they are concerned, 2 crimes have been committed and they are both easy to prove in this instance.

    1. Theft - obviously, of the vouchers
    2. Deception - as the vouchers are to be used only by the person to whom they are issued.

We have received a cheque for the £17 but no apology and no confirmation that they intend to pass on our mail in future.

I think a visit to the police station, to formally make a complaint, is in order.

    Will keep you posted.

Whenever I move I ALWAYS pay for a redirection of mail for 6 months & even though I change EVERYTHING, there is always someone you forget or someone who doesn't change it when you ask.
Pay for redirection, simple, sorted then.

It may be worth complaining to Tesco again, especially as you did try to change your address. I complained about missing vouchers and they awarded me 500 extra points.

Exactly the same thing happened to me, I didn't receive my coupons despite updating my details with Tesco, so I phoned to query and was told they'd been used

The lady on the phone was lovely though, and added the points to my next statement.
