Hooray, brilliant news on the boiler:beer: There was you planning a new one....getting into debt;)
I was going to suggest an ipad too...I absolutely love mine, I don't often use the laptop now. But I do like a keyboard, I know why you mean there. I do use e laptop for word though, I much prefer a proper keyboard en. If I type quickly on this thing I go too fast and letters get missed! (As in my last sentence:))I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
Hiya lovely - just a quick question...:D When you had that dry skin round your eye what did you use you get rid of it in the end? My sis has it and can't shift it, she's staying off work as its not good.
I need to find some inspiration to do a list...but I'm feeling rather un motivated and can't be bothered. Must find that sparkle from somewhere as I usually love getting organised for new year:)I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
Oh your poor sis - it's Avene Soothing Eye Contour Cream. About £10 in B00ts. I think what also helped was finding out what caused it in the first place - in my case it was using A1di make up wipes round my eyes. She might want to try some eye drops too. Hope this helps. It's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey0

Picked dd up and we went to the library. We also popped into the garden centre. I say garden centre but it's one that sells loads of lovely gifts and xmas decorations. I am still on my hunt for a nice tea caddy for my loose leaf tea but they didn't have any either.
We have come home and I feel really achey againI've quickly made lunch and taken some tablets. Now sitting in the armchair watching Titanic. I think dd might fall asleep on the sofa soon as I don't think she got much sleep last night.

If the cost wasn't an issue would you like the iPad or would you still prefer something else? Because if you'd really like it I think you should go for it as you'd get quite a few years use out of it. You've cleared much bigger debts and would be able to pay off the iPad cost too if you really wanted it. You can buy a keyboard for it for £10-15 if that's any help. Or maybe you have totally different taste to pixie and me!! I don't have the iPad but I'd love one.Total debt 11/1/2011 €5350.65Total debt 12/12/12 €3222.31CrazyClothesChallenge 2013 #006 €34.08/€5000

My sister has an iPad but I'm really not that taken with them. I just want a little laptop/netbook reallyIt's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey0 -
DD has just gone to bed. Not far off her normal bedtime. She's been fighting sleep all afternoon, I think i managed a doze. My head still hurts a bit but my body doesn't ache any more.
A bloke at work text me a picture of a laptop I might be interested in. It's £200 and I could just afford it although things would be tight for the rest of the month. Having looked at it it's a bit bigger than I'd like but there's a similar one with an 11" screen that was recommended on the techie board. I think I will leave it till next month now. There's no council tax to pay from next month's salary so even if they aren't as cheap it won't hurt as much and I really don't want to go back to the days of scrimping more than I have to - they weren't that long ago.
Today has been a NSD (fortunately) but as I've got a couple of library books I feel like I have something new
Now I must watch Downton Abbey before my mum blurts out what happened......It's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey0
