  • My 2 still don't have a bank account either....I've been saying it for years too that I'll open one each:rotfl:
I bored still too...have had 2 ciders (though they were small dumpy cans not big ones;)) and am now on a glass of ros! with lemonade (classy me!). Nothing on tv...have let dd have te controls, so Disney channels appeared, argh:D

New Years resolutions...usually I have written a list - more a list of aims and general improvements I could make to me/my life, but this year...nada, zilch. I have been way too lazy these last couple of weeks:o

Am I allowed to say that I want to go to bed? I really really do :o. I have swapped the option of a drink for a couple cold & flu tablets. Started to ache again and can't stop coughing but these tablets are amazing - should hopefully have a good night's sleep.

    I am half-heartedly watching Julie & Julia - there's nothing else on.

By this time last night I'd been in bed two and a half hours..

  • Aaah go to bed lovely, no point staying up just for the sake of it - does dd want to stay up? If not, just go and feel better in the morning:D
My dd is now watching made in Chelsea and I'm wondering if I can get her to go up to bed afterwards, at 11;) eldest is being picked up at 1.30 I think...I told her to text me when she's nearly here so I can get up and let her in. Taste of things to come, her rolling in when I'm in bed - and I don't like it:o I wish she was here with us!

I'm so tempted to go. I can't remember the last time I missed seeing the new year in!

DD has quietened down considerably - she was quite a handful earlier on - so she must be getting tired.

I must admit I'm not looking forward to the time when she's out till all hours - I will worry so much! I don't know how you can bear it! She's just told me she wants to go to bed. i think i may join her very shortly :o

  • I don't blame you, especially with you not feeling your best:)

I hate my girly not being here - I now know how my mum used to feel! Even when she's 18 and old enough to be out clubbing etc, I know I won't sleep til she's in. My mum used to say ow she couldn't settle til we rolled in, but me and my sis just laughed...then staggered in at 4am:eek:

I just remember what I was like, drinking waaay too much etc...and it makes me terrified to think of my girly doing the same:o

I am lucky though - she is lovely and mostly stays home, some of her friends are out all the time and can be right handfuls I think, but she is pretty good, we get along very well:) it's dd2 who's hitting the grumpy teenage stage, eldest is over that and is lovely company.

Lord I'm rambling on your dairy:rotfl:

Please do ramble away - I like reading it! It's strange though, all the different stages our girls go through. Each one harder than the last but we get through it. And everyone says that newborns are hard work - at least you know where they are at that age!

It's true when your mum tells you that you never stop worrying about your children!:)

I'm gonna get ready for bed thenpoke my nose out the front door at midnight and let the old year out/new year in then I'll be off to my pit too.

As you say rock n roll ;)
