That list looks much better. We got quite a lot in town without actually spending too much real moneyIt's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey0 -
Wow you had a busy and productive day! What are you going to make with your stock? I love making fresh stock - I have some chicken stock in the freezer but at the moment I have 3 tubs of turkey and rice soup and 2 tubs of curried parsnip soup to use up first! Lucky I like soup!
Well done on the eb*y sales - I keep saying I am going start eb*ying but never quite get round to it!!!0 -
Go you - love the idea of To Do and TaDa lists :T
I have always wanted to make proper stock following roasts... need to move somewhere with a decent kitchen and sufficient space to seat friends! Hopefully this will be the year

I'm not sure what I'm going to do with the stock  I might just use it when I next do risotto. The recipes usually say 'good quality stock' and all I usually have in is run of the mill stuff. I must admit I was surprised at how easy it was - i always assumed it would be fiddly and smelly (!)
Once you start eb@ying it becomes quite addictive. It is so easy these days with smartphones too. Can usually just list everything whilst sitting on the sofaIt's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey0 -

I have decided to entertain more (well, I clearly need the practise) and as I have done it twice this year already and it is only 5 Jan that's not bad going!
You'll get there Rosa - you have enough determination and the right attitudeIt's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey0 -
Ta-da! List
100 crunches done (have actually managed it every day but keep forgetting to post it.
Tree and decs down
Bank accounts checked
Eb@y parcels sent off.
Floors steamed
3 loads of washing done
To do list
Go for a run at lunchtime
Took the steam mop for a test drive and once it had been going for about 10 minutes it was OK. It was quite hard work to start with but I think that was because the pad was dry. I think all in all it is OK for the money (£24)It's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey0 -
Ta-da! List for yesterday and today..
100 crunches (both days)
Went for run (yesterday)
Not much else on the 'achieved' list. I've got a rotten sore throat which is probably just the beginning of a cold (which I smugly thought I'd managed to avoid whilst everyone else was dropping like flies but no, it's got me ) Running in the rain yesterday probably didn't help. Been dosing myself up for the last couple of days and will go to bed after Silent Witness.
I signed up for a free trial of My credit M0nitor through TCB for £15.75 cashback. Since I 'rejoined' TCB last week I now have £53 pending.
The fridge is looking encouragingly bare which is good because it means I bought just enough food to last until food shop on Friday :TIt's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey0 -
Hi Vasseur you are doing great with the crunches and running - send some motivation my way please! I hope the cold doesn't turn into this nasty bug that seems to be everywhere - I wasn't well 10 days before Christmas and I'm still coughing!!! might have a look at the credit monitor thing - that cash back is very good!0

Hm, I may follow your example in heading for TBC instead of QCo. I looked for insurance on there a week ago and was very disappointed to find that they'd set up their own search tool instead of using the wider ones.
Good on you for going running - not sure I will manage to follow that example very soon, but may try when I'm back in the swing of the day job. I did get the running book on Amazon deals for a whole 99p today - that must count for something

I actually think it might be tonsillitisI used to suffer from it a lot when i was younger so i know what it feels like. No point in going to the doctor - it will be gone by the time I get an appointment...
