Ha ha ha! It's like on the threads were people post codes for money off takeaways. You will often get someone post a "takeaways are a waste, you should cook from scratch - tut tut" message. Why?! I sew, but I wouldn't go on the threads about clothing store discounts and say "you should make your clothes from scratch - tut tut"!0 -
I have a GA to DH TBS Lip Roll on - Berry 10ml he has sore lips, as he's got man flu and I had been thinking of chucking this anyway.

What's odd is someone can post something and get shot down in flames and a few days later someone else posts a very similar query and gets lots of supportive answers.
I am afraid I have a box of half-price Philosophy products winging it's way to me as well as some Burberry Body from the Boots sale. I have had a vile year so will not be horrible to myself. But, from the 1st Jan I am going to commit to using up what I have. I watched a video on YouTube of a woman who has pledged to only buy 10 items of make-up next year and definitely think I need to pledge something similar!
I also need to do something similar I have enough mascara, eyeshadow, lipstick and lip glosses to last a couple of years at least. The only makeup items that I may possibly need are foundation and powder depending on how quickly I get through current stash, as now wearing makeup more often than I used to.0 -
On another note am really loving the Lush cleansers and toner. My skin is so much softer after only 2 days. I've never really tried Lush products before and really glad that I did now.
Once stash has finally gone I want to keep my skincare regime as natural as possible. My skin is definitely better when using more natural products.0 -
1 uu- sanctuary foaming bath soak 75ml wiba? well i have several more in collection... not quite sure if was from last xmas or the one before..it came from some sort of drawer set i really needed(x2) and then promptly got rid of as it didnt fit all my makeup
. dont think i will post a stash list in the new year as i have most of it written in a notebook but i will maybe post my targets. this year i was really good on the buying front - only got 1 urban decay palette and my womanity giftset as far as i an see £365 a year spend challenge - this has included food/clothes/beauty?? who knows where I am

I have never understood why, on those kinds of threads in particular, people insist on posting the same response as umpteen people have before them.
Ill generally click on a thread, see the response I would have given has been said and move on, or post something along the lines of 'I agree with x but have you also considered....'. A cacophony of voices all shouting the same feels like a mob, no matter how well intended the responses may be.
On another note, a little empathy goes a long way. I know the written word doesn't always express the nuance intended, but the word 'sanctimonious' has popped in to my head on more than one thread-viewing occasion. Maybe it's because I deal with the public in a very difficult/emotive area of law, but empathising with the client's frustration with a law that appears to do no justice to them, does no harm whatsoever.

One UU to report:
BS Natrulift firming day cream. This is another sample from my BS pack of treats. WIB? Yes, once I finish my current product. It sinks nicely into the skin without feeling too greasy. This might be my replacement for the carrot cream, which BS no longer seems to stock.0 -
UU - Clairol Perfect 10 hair dye - WBA definitely, really high quality conditioner and gloves in this! Worth the extra £1 compared to Garnier Nutrisse which is what I usually buy

More INs since I saw MIL and SIL today and they gave me smellies!
FCUK set - 4 items I think, will update shortly.
FCUK Body Polish, 200ml
FCUK Body Butter, 200ml
FCUK Bath Syrup, 300ml
FCUK Body Wash, 300ml
The Chocolate Bath Box - 6 bath bombs in this. I don't like anything in my bath really so these will be re-gifted/swapped I think!Decluttering 2015: 2162/20150 -

I can honestly say from your stash, there is no way you are a troll:D Really, you'd be the best groomed troll around!
But, it's like the Las Vegas thread. If you aren't a cool kid you get jumped on by the regulars. Honestly, they are a weird bunch. LV is a common escape for Canadians (better weather being the main reason) and we don't give a damn where we stay and how fancy the hotel is. But the regs are all about who has the biggest suite at the cheapest price.0 -
1 UU to report - a bag of bath salts. Sort of rose sented, no idea of make it must have been part of a gift set that was long ago seperated. All info that was on the packet was so faded I was unable to read it!No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries: July stash 72/0 INS/2 UU/0 TA0
