What a lovely list Tater, you will have real pleasure using those.
I use up body butters and lotions quite quickly.
My circulation in my lower legs isn't brilliant, due to my disability, though this is improving again with weight loss. So I am very careful to keep my legs moisturised and the skin in good nick.
About 10 years ago I had a flare of cellulitis caused by dry broken skin on my shins, - I never want to have that again. Body brushing before moisturising is very helpful for this as well.
Pickle, thank you from me too, I will probably need to buy foot cream in a month or so, once my PRC (see sig.) creams are gone.
I like using Nivea Blue as it makes me feel close to my Mum, but I'd never thought of it for my feet for some odd reason.Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I rang a friend earlier to see if we were meeting up today - she is a wheelchair user who has to use oxygen to aid breathing, but is able to get out and about. She isn't well and the doc was on his way.
She doesn't normally say she isn't well unless she is really ill and I'm worried. Your thoughts for her would be appreciated.
I hope your friend is OK and feeling better soon x3 stone down, 3 more to go0 -
Kiplingmonkey - I wish I had been at that works do when you mentioned your spreadsheets. I cringe for you whenever you mention it.
I can laugh now - to dig myself further into a hole I then mentioned all my jewellery was in colour coded lock & lock boxes. That really did stop all conversations dead...
noelphobic - I once posted about an M&S bra offer on another thread and got a barrage of abuse about how pants (no pun intended) M&S underwear was and why would anyone want a bargain there anyway. Hugs to you - stick with us, we're much nicer...
SuiDreams and Tater fantastic Christmas haul. Some lovely INs there.
emsjune78 - ditto on the Christmas haul. I saw the Hello Kitty bag in THAT store today - it is lovely but I am v proud of myself - I looked round the shop and left without making a purchase.
Here are my Christmas gift INs:
Clarisonic gentle hydro cleanser 30ml
Bare Minerals
Whipped velvet long wear eye colour plush brown
Sugared bronze eyecolour
Round the clock eyeliner 2am
flawless definition curl and lengthen mascara
Flawless radiance all-over face colour
Marvellous Moxie lipgloss rule breaker
and now I have a confession - we went into town today and in the Bare Minerals shop they had a Seize the Day round the clock eyeliner set reduced to £14.50-ish so I treated myself (in my defense i did resist in other stores).
Bare minerals
Round the clock eyeliners in:
10am (full size)
Noon (mini)
1pm (mini)
3pm (mini)
5pm (mini)
My DDs used some of their christmas money in Lush and I treated them to a large snow fairy which was half price but not counting that as an IN as they will use it, not me.0 -
couple of ins from Santa:-
Baylis & Harding Plum Pudding hand and body lotion 50ml
Ted Baker Body Wash 50ml, Body Scrub 50ml, Body Lotion.
50ml and Body Spray 50ml.
Only one sale purchase so far, which was planned - Marc Jacobs Daisy gift set. Haven't looked much at sales but if Boots do their 75% off then I will be there to stock up on presents for next year.3 stone down, 3 more to go0 -

Thank you for that, KM and Noelphobic.
I just wanted to add that I read your thread, Noelphobic and goodness, there are some people with a LOT of time on their hands....
There are many threads on MSE where self proclaimed knowledgeable people who could be positive and helpful are really quick to pounce and play mind games.
A lot of my online pals with disabilities avoid MSE like the plague as they have been subjected to such vitriol; it's a shame as there is such good advice tucked away in many threads.Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... Sending lots of positive vibes for your friend.
Its a real shame that some people use the relative anonymity of being sat behind a computer screen to spew out nastiness and run others down. I dare say in 'RL' they are sad individuals with little going for them. Its not nice to see but unfortunately all too common.
I'm proud to contribute to such a friendly and supportive thread where such behaviour isn't tolerated, hence the trolls keep away0 -
