No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries in December

I am hugely tempted by the superskin collection in the liz earle collection, but trying to be strong!
I'm calling time on my OUTs for the month, and transferred my £2s in to my stash slush fund. Sadly I've ended the month with more INs than OUTs, but only by 1!0 -

.
Some of them definitely need to get out more.
I've seen another thread about a subject I feel strongly about but don't have the energy to get into another discussion, especially as I don't agree with the majority of people on there - seems to be a hanging matter not to agree with everyone all the time. Even if you're polite when you disagree you get it thrown back in your face. There's a pack mentality where people seem to enjoy ganging up on someone and ridiculing them. I even got 'followed' to this thread and criticised for daring to post on here how unhappy I was about some of the responses I had had. :eek:3 stone down, 3 more to go0 -

Yeah, I saw that!
How the originator of a post with a perfectly reasonable request for advice morphs into a troll is way beyond me.
Mind you, we also have to factor in that it being Christmas, alcoholic refreshment may have been involved in some posts (not yours!).
That probably gives a few posters Dutch courage.
Meanwhile, as for following you to this thread...
Well, to anyone reading this who has stalked Noelphobic over to this thread...
:hello:
What toiletries did you get for Christmas? Anything useful?
Something you could use to get a clean and clear conscience, perhaps?Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.0 -

:ALife is a coin, you can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once.
Go as far as you can see, and when you get there you'll see further.
Take time but don't waste time0 -
Hi All.
Called at Boots today and checked out their sale items, I think it is looking good for Sanctuary sets to be in the 75% off sale if they do one. I went in for toothpaste and left with just that paid for with points - yay me.
No uu to report but have a couple of things which may bite the dust before the month ends.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

If I could vote for my favourite post this year then this would win hands down.
I doubt if even my sizeable stash of shower gel would be sufficient to clean some of those consciences!3 stone down, 3 more to go0 -
UU for me, probably the last one of the year:
Soap and Glory Calm One, Calm All bubble bath: decanted this into a soap pump as I don't have a bath! WNBA, don't like the original S&G scent. I believe this is the last item from last year's big set!0 -
I am kicking myself :wall: Went in to House of Fraser earlier today. I saw both the Elemis Duchess of Spa and Princess of Spa sets, reduced form £49.50 to £34.95. I've just looked at the time to spa websites and seen the actual value of these sets *sadface*. And I've heard so much abut the monoi oil and quiet mind bath elixir
I do have a naughty last minute in though; Bobbi Brown BB cream. I'm finding my current foundation too heavy for everyday wear.0 -

What's odd is someone can post something and get shot down in flames and a few days later someone else posts a very similar query and gets lots of supportive answers.
I am afraid I have a box of half-price Philosophy products winging it's way to me as well as some Burberry Body from the Boots sale. I have had a vile year so will not be horrible to myself. But, from the 1st Jan I am going to commit to using up what I have. I watched a video on YouTube of a woman who has pledged to only buy 10 items of make-up next year and definitely think I need to pledge something similar!0
