    Hi All,

I have no heating :( Went off last night, no water pressure at all, don't know whether its a leak or a dodgy valve.... Have come home from work especially for engineer who said he was coming at 3pm, stilll no sign! I know he's probably mega busy at this time of year but I could've saved rushing if I'd have known it'd be later.... Hey ho Hope he can do something if he does eventually show up but got a feeling he might say the boiler is beyond help, nightmare!

I've a few UU this last couple of days:

L'Oreal Preference Conditioner - comes with colourant which I will BA

L'Occitane Mango Flower Hand Cream - freebie with Glamour? WBA

Morrisons Orchid White Shower Creme - bargain, WBA

And not IN as yet but I did somehow crack, do a massive u-turn and order the S&G set yesterday morning online..... :o Blame pressures of work and life in general!!! Thinking I could still return it though as when it arrives it'll be all sealed up? Even our small local High Street branch down the road had loads stocked up in the window at lunchtime today, whereas they sold out last year and the year before within the hour. Says a lot! Hand Food and Heel Genius are my absolute toiletry nemisis so I have no idea what I was thinking, except that there were some other things I hadn't tried and wouldn't mind trying in there......:o I am a hopeless case, thank goodness for this thread!!

Shivering hugs to all those that need them! I want to get back to work for a warm, if he's not here by 4pm I'm off! xx

Oh that is grim, hope that engineer turns up soon and that it is something simple and inexpensive. Becky2, pleased that yours is sorted.

I have an OUT - Olay facial cleanser wash, bought from Mr B when there was a £5 off Olay voucher, but now they've changed which items :( it can be used against. I think it only cost 86p after the voucher so WBA

Great news about your brother and fingers crossed that he continues to improve. My son was in intensive care last year and was heavily sedated for several days. He was very disorientated and a little bit aggressive when he woke up but improved very quickly.

When you mentioned diesel I thought you meant the fragrance/aftershave lol! Shows how obsessed with toiletries I am, even though i think diesel is a male fragrance!

Popping to say that Diesel did do a male fragrance gift set a couple of years back. Might not have sold in the UK but it did over here.

Valm - I agree about the LE skin tint, I only had a sachet to try but it is vile, so thick and greasy. The Maybelline BB cream is a true tinted moisturiser imo, really light and easy to apply, I add a bit of foundation over it just where I need a bit of extra coverage.

I too wear BnB over a base. Also, as the BnB I'm currently wearing is the wrong shade and too light it gives it some more colour if I apply it on top of either the LE or the Maybelline. When we were away in York last weekend I took the BnB and applied it to bare skin (just because I didn't want to feel caked in make up from the LE). The light in the bathroom at the Premier Inn was really stark and I realised how ghostly I look without the base!

Trying to summon up enough energy to go and have a shower and hair wash, I am so exhausted. Potentially 5 or 6 UU's in the next 2/3 weeks, mostly full sizes.

Good news is that it is now 10 days since my bro was rushed to hospital, he is still in critical care, has now had 4 lots of surgery, and they are monitoring the 2nd aneurysm, in the hope that it will heal itself, if not they will operate at some stage. We understand that they will be slowly bringing him back from the induced coma soon. Long way to go yet, but he is a physically strong guy, so we are hopeful!

Big hugs to all that need them and my thanks to all of you who have been there for me, and thus for him:A

VALM I am so tempted to buy LE as I will need IBST soon and would like more C&P, but with my private physio costing me £55 per week and also using lots of diesel atm I think I must resist, daft to take money out of savings for it.

Off to slather myself in sweet smelling unctuous stuff a) to reduce the stash and b) to buck me up. Have a good weekend everyone.

Hi Maddiemay. You and your brother are still in my thoughts. Take care.

Resist the LE. It will always be there and with other offers to be had. To be fair I always put an order in at Christmas as MrM loves the body wash and I tend to stock him up with a trio at this time of year. I looked at my stash of shower gels yesterday as he had run out completely. He thought he had another L'occitane Badian to use but it looks like he's already used the spare. Have given him the bottle of L'Occitane Almond shower gel that I bought ages ago for him and popped some travel sizes into his wash bag for when he works away next. Including this bottle i have 10 shower gels still in my stash. All of them are full sized as well.

My LE order arrived yesterday so I've kept the Skin Repair moisturiser and Eyebright out. Am going to give Emma the C&P and mini kit at Christmas. Got a free sample of the new perfume with my order and tried it yesterday. I think it's too sweet for me though.

I completed on my house yesterday!

(and then bought a celebratory half price beauty advent calender oops)

Congratulations on your move. I think we only have potentially 4 completions at work this week but then about 20 lined up for first week of Jan.

    What are dots?

Have caught up with thread now. Hugs to everyone who needs them and to emsjune hope your heating problem has been sorted. A couple of weeks ago our boiler gave off a huge bang and I've been wondering since whether it's on its last legs. Thankfully we know a local CORGI man.

Forgot to mention I was at the hairdressers on Friday night after work and have gone much shorter - still in a bob though. A few people have said it's taken years off me.

    4 UUs to report also:-

The 2 x Elemis products I mentioned that were spluttering have gone - 15ml PCMC and 25ml Pro Radiance Cleanser.

    Also gone are:-

S&G Sugar Crush scrub. Have no scrubs at all in my stash - yay another department I have graduated in. Also, as proof that the challenge is working?? I've decided to await the Jan sales before repurchasing. I really fancy trying the Philosophy Candy Cane one but don't want to pay full price. Will see.

Dove Pomegranate shower gel. I hate Dove as it really dries my skin out. This was bought for me as a gift and I would never purchase Dove products for myself.

After posting about my shower gel stash still I've decided to use one of them for my Secret Santa - probably a Mandara Spa one as we are only meant to be spending £5.00 each.

Looking at the stash yesterday made me realise I've come a long way. Apart from shower gels the next product type that I still have an abundance of are body lotions but even this is not as bad as the shower gel count. I have 2 x full sized TBS body butters and a 50ml pot of Boots Extracts body butter unopened and a bottle of Philosophy Pure Grace body lotion and TBS Moroccan rose body butter on the go. Feel quite pleased with myself. My nail lacquer drawer however goes from strength to strength lol

Going out shopping with Emma later today as she wants a new pair of jeans so am taking her to New Look. There is a Boots nearby. Wish me luck. x
