Trying to summon up enough energy to go and have a shower and hair wash, I am so exhausted. Potentially 5 or 6 UU's in the next 2/3 weeks, mostly full sizes.

Good news is that it is now 10 days since my bro was rushed to hospital, he is still in critical care, has now had 4 lots of surgery, and they are monitoring the 2nd aneurysm, in the hope that it will heal itself, if not they will operate at some stage. We understand that they will be slowly bringing him back from the induced coma soon. Long way to go yet, but he is a physically strong guy, so we are hopeful!

Big hugs to all that need them and my thanks to all of you who have been there for me, and thus for him:A

VALM I am so tempted to buy LE as I will need IBST soon and would like more C&P, but with my private physio costing me £55 per week and also using lots of diesel atm I think I must resist, daft to take money out of savings for it.

Off to slather myself in sweet smelling unctuous stuff a) to reduce the stash and b) to buck me up. Have a good weekend everyone.

Two friends have offered to get me the soap n glory offer as I am in work today but I have said no. Still have loads from last Christmas to use up and half of the things I wouldn't use anyway. Feeling very pleased with myself.

a colleague also told me about this offer. Was quite shocked when I said I was bored with Soap and Glory. Problem is that as I said it I realised another colleague (who said she likes S and G) has a birthday next week. Can't really get away with regifting some of my S and G stash to her next week, as she will probably realise what I have done! Unless she thinks I went out and bought it because she said she liked it!

I need to have a good sort out in my bedroom. I've been saying this for months. My son moved out a while ago and I've been sleeping in his room ever since. Hopefully he will stay over for at least one night over Xmas and can't tell him to sleep on the sofa when I have a 3 bedroomed house! I think I may well discover quite a few things from the Boots sale that I can use as gifts. Will have to try not to keep them for myself.

Great news about your brother and fingers crossed that he continues to improve. My son was in intensive care last year and was heavily sedated for several days. He was very disorientated and a little bit aggressive when he woke up but improved very quickly.

When you mentioned diesel I thought you meant the fragrance/aftershave lol! Shows how obsessed with toiletries I am, even though i think diesel is a male fragrance!

I have to say that I agree. Things can only get better if you both make an effot and it doesn't sound as though he's prepared to do anything at all.

Only you can make that decision and it's a really tough one.

So sorry about the way things are.

If you are serious about ending your marriage I REALLY DO recommend that you take yourself off for some counselling, either with Relate or privately, you need someone out of the box" to discuss all the options with (not legal - that can follow), you must be hard nosed and talk through all the possibilities, i.e if you tell him too soon he might move all the money (my cousin's husband did this to her, even though she was putting up with all the horrid things he was doing (not physically) to her. Another thing is, as Wondercollie said, so many people who have left less than good marriages and now living in bad financial situations, away from their friends (and you will find out who your true friends are!). Not wishing to side with your OH, but is it possible that he is so stresssed by work, travelling that he just is not coping with life and his relationship with you, you say he cannot deal when you are upset. Both my FIL and much later my OH went through REALLY bad patches, pretty close to breakdowns.

Sorry rambly, but sent with much love, in different ways we are both struggling atm.

Welcome to you. I hope you are gifting the S&G sets. The shelf life on their products doesn't seem to be very long!
    .

I'll second that. I was quite annoyed a while ago when I got out an S and G travel size shower gel that had never been opened to discover it had separated. Normally things only go off when they have been opened a while and even then they often last longer than the 6/12/24 months or whatever they are advised to be used by. I ended up using it as handwash which was OK but even if I wasn't thoroughly bored with S and G it would put me off buying any more.
