Just quickly popping in to say that I am faring well on the chemo drugs - fatigue has hit me hard but apart from that not too much room to complain

Lots of NSD as haven't stepped outside the house since I got back from hospital on Monday - its been too hot and I've been warned to stay out of it where possible. So orders duly taken

Still waiting to exchange on our house. Our almost chain free purchase has only two other people, and the owner of the house our sellers are buying is a 'character' (solicitors words to describe him). He is holding us all up and by all accounts isn't even living in the house he's selling.

Feeling sad and fed up about it, but just have to hope, pray and believe it will work out. Our landlord sent us a letter this week to say she is putting the rent up by 10.5% from September. So it will be £940, just under £100 more a month!!! :eek: _pale_ Needless to say we 1. can't afford it and 2. aren't prepared to pay that considering our landlord still hasn't sorted out the rat problem properly. Hope we can get moving soon!!!!!

p.s Hope everyone is enjoying the sunshine, I'm trying not to moan too much about being hot as we don't know how long we'll have this lovely warm weather for!!

Mossy I hate the heat. Would much rather it be the dead of winter! Lol. I'm miserable I know lol.

I won £30 on a scratch card today got £26 left to go in the pot with the £5 I won a week or 3 back

Managed to pot an extra 63p on Wednesday and £3.03 yesterday after a lovely day out in Llangollen. I enjoyed the trip on the steam train but it was too hot for poor DH.

£10 in the pot from a FB sale and a big old handful of loose change in there aswell am off on holiday on monday to the seaside with DS, DD and Gran (no daddies and grandads allowed ) and have my bag of 2p's ready for the slots :j so will pot any change I have when we get back friday

Ah Sue im stuck between a bit of a rock and a hard place as the bird is in the new cage, we no longer have the old cage and the money I need to use to buy a bigger cage is currently tied up in this thing :rotfl: so im a bit like, if I send it back 1) what do I do with the bird and 2) how do I pay for the new cage! I think i'll open a case and haggle for a partial refund as it can be used as a travel cage, and I would use it like that, and see how I get on

Sorry I've been AWOL, been busy at work & at home, still no news on the things next doo going but we live in hope. Had a quick scan on the posts but I'll take a better look over the weekend, if the boss lets me sit down! Welcome to our newest members. (((HUGS))) to all who need them.

Still potting my daily £3 plus any change and yesterday I got 20 X£2 coins of the pools man for the Shhh! 2014 spending fund. Weighed both my pots today sealed pot weighs a whopping 10LB & the Shhh! 2014 spending fund pot weighs 8LB.

The project for my scooter is going very slowly and at this rate I won't be able to ride it during this season, so I'll [probably have to moth ball her and wait until the 2014 season starts.

For anyone wanting road change hunting tips!

1. Always walk looking down to the ground, watch for lamposts though!
2. Be perpared to push anyone & I mean anyone out of the way to get that desirable coin.
3. Always look for lone shopping trollies at the supermarket they sometimes yield coins.
4. Vending machines are a source of forgotten change.

Thats all you're getting, I don't want to give away all my secrets!
