Went to Llangollen las Sunday and went on the narrow boat trip across the aquaduct, I found £1.20 in the town before we got on the boat

Morning all, a bit of a break with the heat-wave here (thankfully).

Potted £2 this morning and that's more than £10 saved this week.

£424+ potted so far and need £26 within 11 days to get to £450...............we'll see.
Might get a few £'s later when I put the lottery on.

I'd have loved to go on the boat trip too but we didn't have time.

Managed to convince my brother who visited for the day to give me his change which added a nice $5 to the holding purse, bringing the holding purse value to $31.35!

I think once it stops being so bitterly cold here i might try and raid the garage for some coins!

Sue-UU thanks for the tip to subscribe to this thread, it took me ages to find it again just now lol. I have also added my number to my signature, hope I have done it right.

I have no idea how much is in my pot now, I was keeping a tally on a little notepad on my laptop but I deleted it by mistake :rotfl: Oh well, it'll be a nice suprise when I open it to see how much I have at the end of November! I hope to have all my Christmas shopping done by then, but hopefully I will have enough to by the kids an extra treat or two each, and maybe a new dress for myself to wear! I am dieting too and hope to have lost quite a bit more by Christmas so it would be lovely to have something new to wear

Oh and I havn't found any roadkill yet either which is rather disappointing! I always walk now looking at the ground lol but I still hav'nt found any. Booo! x
