  • Make that £5.15 - I just found 21p on the kitchen floor :j

I can see myself getting very addicted to this, and I am loving the term 'roadkill' for coins found outside :rotfl:

    I've been Money Tipped!
Yorkshire_Pudding - welcome to the thread and MSE and good luck. Still time to offset Xmas costs.

Potted just 90p, but not spending much this week. I'll get some more change tomorrow as eating out and need some salad stuff and basics.
The 90p will add to my surprise.

Hope everyone is enjoying the "summer".
There was supposed to be a summer like this in 1976 allegedly. ;)

Not that I can remember though.

    Still £418+ potted.

Others on here are much higher. And trust me, before long you will be thoroughly addicted too and before every purchase you find yourself thinking "hmmmm do i actually need this or would i be happier potting the money........ into the pot it goes!" And never before would a penny on the floor be the highlight of your day but you just wait, we'll soon see posts from you saying "I FOUND XX ROAD-KILL WOOHOO" lol

  • Funnily enough I was looking for roadkill on my way back from the shop. It's like looking for treasure isn't it?! :rotfl:

I just popped the change from the shop in my tin, thats another 42p in my pot! I have sealed it with sellotape, but I have a feeling I would just untape it if I wanted lol. So tomorrow I am going to go to poundland and pick up a couple of of those sealed money tins, the ones you use a can opener to get in to? I hope I am making sense! x

Hello all! I found another 20cents today, I guess I raided it all yesterday for the most part! Nooo!

Welcome yorkshire_pudding to the challenge! I am so addicted to it, I also love feeling proud of myself for not raiding it, I find I'm motivated when I post here and I'm more accountable for breaking into it (I stole $2 once but it went on a bus ticket and charity and was replaced later in the day!)

nell36 great news, am very pleased for you. I hope your recovery goes well.

Welcome to Yorkshire Pudd - great name, am sure you will enjoy being part of our special band.

Am on my third nsd - yay - but am still potting £1 a day and I had a handful of scrapnel for the vw campervan pot. DH gave me a £2 for the owls head so slow and steady steps, as ever.
