a lovely handful of change in the pot today care of DH and his 'need' for a bar of chocolate (not the small bar, but a big a** family bar to himself!)
Everythings all up in a heaval in the jakes-mum household as things have all come to a head and DH and I are talking big changes. Needles to say, the new carpet is on hold now, keeping my cards close to my chest at the minute until ive done some serious phone calling tomorrow but hopefully the outcome will be positive. Seriously wish my eldest didnt have super sonic hearing though as trying to talk to DH about it all without master earwigger is proving impossible, I swear the child's subconcious eaves drops on us as convo's held at midnight he seems to know all about! :eek:SPC No 002 SPC(3) £285/£250 (4) £519.84/£500 (5) £768.32/£500 (6) £911.30/£600 (7) £913.23/£600 (8) £1184.82/£750 (9) £2864.04/£750 (10) £3846.25/£1000 (11) £1779.72/£1000 (12) £1596.55/£1000 (13) £1534.70/£1000 (14) £775.60/£1000 (15) £700.20/£1000 (16) £2081.34/£1000 (17) £1691.15/£1000 (18) £225/£10000 -

found £2.67 on the side in the kitchen that no-one seemed to own, so into the pot its gone along with 50p that fell out the bottom of the sofa when the bloke from SS turned it upside down to fit the extended legs to the bottom to raise it up.
Not happy today, bought georgie a new cage as the old one was getting to heavy for DH to lift to clean it, seller listed it as 58cm x 51 x by 33cm, when it arrived its 58cm x 39cm x 24cm  emailed them and they said thats the size of the extended roof not the size of the actual cage, so they dont think its been miss-sold  contacted amaz0n who agreed it was wrongly advertised and told me to open a case against the seller (though there isnt an option to do that yet!) im so cross as how am I supposed to know they measured the bloomin roof not the actual useable space! you know . . . the bit the bird actually lives in . . . sometimes I dispair of people i really docan only really use it as a travel cage
He is currently still in it and doesnt seem overly bothered as hes very much a climber not a flyer so I think he'll be ok for a few days till I get a bigger one for him. I wouldnt want him to live in it long term, its a bit like going from a 4 bedroom townhouse to a caravan :eek:SPC No 002 SPC(3) £285/£250 (4) £519.84/£500 (5) £768.32/£500 (6) £911.30/£600 (7) £913.23/£600 (8) £1184.82/£750 (9) £2864.04/£750 (10) £3846.25/£1000 (11) £1779.72/£1000 (12) £1596.55/£1000 (13) £1534.70/£1000 (14) £775.60/£1000 (15) £700.20/£1000 (16) £2081.34/£1000 (17) £1691.15/£1000 (18) £225/£10000 -
Hello everyone! I am new to the forum and rubbish at saving lol, so I would like a challenge! I have a tin in the cupboard that I chuck all my change into but I think I will seal it, as I am bad for taking the odd pound out for something! I just counted my change in the tin and I currently have £4.94. I would love to try and increase this to use at Christmas this year x
Edited to add - I forgot to ask if anyone minds if I join in! xSealed Pot Challenge Member #2806
