Morning fellow potters
In my last post i was hoping to find some stray coinage upstairs, alas after a major cleaning session i didnt find a single penny!!
However i, with my eagle eyes, surveying the land at my feet spotted a crisp £5 abandoned in a carpark :j swooping down i claimed it has mineOH moans ' why can't i ever find money?' the answer to that is simple, you have to be on the look out for it!
With that and relieving my purse of its under 50p coins i have potted £7.12 this morning
I think the holding pot idea is an excellent way to save, i potted everything 'spare' from my purse last week and then promptly needed £1 for DD, so had to break a note at the shop and buy something just to get some change!SPC ~ 6 ~ MEMBER 18730 -

Hi all
A lovely 2 x £2 and some change yesterday when I got back from Mum's. It looks such a lovely day outside but it's sooo cold!
T'other day I was in Mr A when a man near me dropped all his change from his pocket! I had to restrain myself from rugby-tackling him as he picked it all up! He didn't leave me a single coin - yes i did go aver and look as soon as he'd gone :rotfl:
Lucky OH wasn't with me he'd have been so embarrased!

Hello
I hope you are all well.
Saturday i went to the cash machine and took out £50 for my works Christmas do. It gave me my card and my receipt but no moneyI checked my online banking and that said the money had come out too. Luckily when i called the bank this morning they said it will be back in my bank by Wednesday. However, i had all my drinks bought for me (i offered to buy back but i don't feel guilty since they're all on way more than me) so i'm tempted to pot the £50 when i get it back
I also gave £5 to a homeless man because he was sat next to the cash machine and looked after me whilst i was trying to work out what to do. He promised me he was going to use it for a room for the night and i believed him (also he didn't show any drink or drug signs and was sat on a book).
Anyway... since i last posted my potted amount i have potted £12.49Sealed Pot Challenge member #071 VSP #4
