3p 'parking machine' kill
. Wish more people would throw away their shrapnel, then my pot would fill up quicker - it still sounds awful empty.

12p in the pot today.
DD was on a pupil enrichment course today at Chichester Cathedral so I spent the morning wandering around getting the last few Christmas presents which was lovely. Scoured the floor for road kill and not a penny did I find!!
Also as I've been potting my change, I didn't quite have the right change for the carpark lol so had to pay an extra 10p how rude!! On the plus side as it was a ticket for the whole day (note to self must find a cheaper car park to frequent there) I left my ticket for someone else to use for the rest of the day! It might have been a fellow potter who came along and benefited from it and so put the £4 in their pot as they didn't need it for parking....who knows!! :A
I now need to sit down and work out budgets so that I don't go over......too much!
Hope everyone enjoys the rest of their weekend.Saving for Disney again, oops why book one Disney holiday when you can book two!:starmod: Emergency Fund Savings - #148 - £10/£1000 1% :starmod::xmastree:#083 SPC6 £63 - SPC7 £90 - SPC8 £63 - SPC9 £54 - SPC10 £26 - SPC12 £70 :xmastree:0 -
Just posted my total in the old thread and mortified that my target was £300....eep! Might have to get rid of the target this year and just save lots.
And now with the unexpected money, I might buy some christmas decorations for the office....from poundland of course :rudolf:
Have put my lottery winnings - a huge £11.70 on the pot.
:hello:

Got your email. Hope T is OK and not in too much pain
Now I know that trouble 1 LC2 is rampaging around Portugal, but what has happened to trouble 2 Jakes-Mum? Hope she's alright
Off out tonight for J's dad's 70th Birthday.
There you go, sparky, J knows you so very well and knows you'll rise to the challenge, I'll bet you do it too! Cut down on her NY spends! :rotfl: but just don't tell her I said that!!! T in lot of pain, but has now got anti inflammatories from Dr so they'll soon kick in, thanks sparks. You both have a lovely time tonight, J's Dad too.
As for Trouble 2 I saw her light was on (but no one home! :rotfl:) earlier. She's got 'empty pot' syndrome.
As for Trouble 2, Portugal will have given huge sighs on seeing her back again....we will on Friday too!!! :rotfl:
Well done, chupachups, you are doing so well.Tr!s bien.

I've just come back from watching my little 8yr old GD dance in her Christmas Show ( a tear comes to the eye...) She was wonderfulnow I'm starving, DH is at work and I fancy chip shop chips
However, I have decided to put some fish and oven chips on and will pot my £1 instead :A
Hi little_sweetie! ....and to think I was seriously taking note of what my mad Belgian friend had in her e-mail (above). :wall: Oh don't our little DGC ever stir those emotions up, bless them. :A Very good on you for saving the F & C £!!!! :T
People are so inconsiderate of us savers, rasp, well spotted.
Ah,you tell us you're joking, nu1isit?, but I'll bet she ends up with 'one you made earlier' on Christmas Day...mmm Mr Tumble 2!!! :rotfl:
Re the CP excess, mossy, that's a really lovely way to view it, who knows. Always try and keep amounts of change with you as we DON'T want to pay over the odds for anything! Not that I'm tight, but CP costs are wicked! As DH says "They want us to go and spend money in the shops and charge us a mint for the pleasure!" No, I kid you not!
A good idea about the budgets.
Hi shorelines! It's really good to see your name back here, welcome home! I've adapted your signature, stay with us and keep motivated.
Oh well done, Savingforsomeday, it sounds as though you really enjoyed yourself...and saved money!!Enjoy a lovely Sunday, everyone.
