Potted 89p this morning :j
Emily xDebt Free Date 1st August 2016 Sealed Pot Challenge #140 -
5p to pot this evening.
Have decided that I am going to try super hard to keep to my grocery budget this month. Normally I end up going over or spending it all at the beginning of the month, however as we are properly skint etc, I have decided I need to crack it this month.
I have split my monthly budget out in to five weeks, plus extra for the first shop and a certain amount towards toiletries/household stuff. Fingies crossed!Might go pop over to the monthly grocery challenge thread to seal the deal properly!
Take care everyone. xSaving for Disney again, oops why book one Disney holiday when you can book two!:starmod: Emergency Fund Savings - #148 - £10/£1000 1% :starmod::xmastree:#083 SPC6 £63 - SPC7 £90 - SPC8 £63 - SPC9 £54 - SPC10 £26 - SPC12 £70 :xmastree:0 -
£10 FB sale today
and DH has just informed me he's buying me the silver pandora bracelet just cos he loves me :rotfl: I'm waiting for the thing he really wants to be mentioned any day now :rotfl:
I'm feeling my road kill fetish is getting out of control, dd wandered over to me in the post office and said 'can I buy a sweet with this penny?' On enquiring where she got it, she said 'I found it on the floor', first thought in my head? ' I can't believe she beat me to MY road kill' :rotfl:SPC No 002 SPC(3) £285/£250 (4) £519.84/£500 (5) £768.32/£500 (6) £911.30/£600 (7) £913.23/£600 (8) £1184.82/£750 (9) £2864.04/£750 (10) £3846.25/£1000 (11) £1779.72/£1000 (12) £1596.55/£1000 (13) £1534.70/£1000 (14) £775.60/£1000 (15) £700.20/£1000 (16) £2081.34/£1000 (17) £1691.15/£1000 (18) £225/£10000 -
Jakesmum - enjoy that Pandora bracelet
Free listing weekend on fleabay, so I am going to get some items listed. Have my eye on a few Christmas (did I actually type that!!!) presents. Working on the basis that if I can pick up a few bargains now and tick a few names off the present list, then I get to use more of my pot money on "me" when its finally counted up. Am beginning to think that a nice holiday this time next year, when all my treatment and recovery time is all over and done with. What an incentive to keep potting, if ever I needed one.
£1.20 in the pot this morning.SPC No:118:j (6) £468.74 (7)

Morning all and another weekend is upon us!! God, is this year flying!!
Potted a single £2 coin.......................so
£355+ potted so far.
nell36 - Xmas?? I've got a few bits bought already, things like whisky and a few stocking fillers. Wrapping paper?? Enough for many more Xmas's and no doubt more 5p rolls in January. lol :rotfl:
So yes, the contents of the "pot" will go further.
I already have a Xmas fund (save cashback ect), so that's all sorted.
mossy - I've been frugal for approx 18 months with food shopping and just ended my "crusade" at the end of April. I'll have to have a few more frugal months before Xmas, though this week has been a very low spend week. I have at least 4 months worth of food as I'm a "hoarder" and need to focus on that. That'll save more pennies.
Good luck.
Have a great weekend everyone.

Didn't leave the house today so nothing in the pot!
Since I do the shopping since moving in with boyfriend in January, our fortnightly budget is $150 (~£90) but we generally go to about $140 or so which is mostly just from buying homebrand everything, doesn't kill us to use homebrand on an already small income. I used to go to the markets to buy meat and vege, but the hour and a half to the markets just made me exhausted for the day carrying around 15 kg of fruit, vege and meat. Though I should get back into that habit.
On the pot note, I keep shaking mine and guessing how much is in there and thinking if I could just count it all!Sealed Pot Challenger #2080 2013

Hi all,
Sorry I've been AWOL and have missed such a lot of posts  but we have just come back from a very wet and windy 10 days in Cornwall (without any internet access). It was lovely nevertheless, so a big WELCOME to any new potters I missed whilst away. Hope everyone is well. We spent a bit more money than we planned on spending so not much left to pot. I'll check pockets etc tomorrow when I do the washing and pot anything I can findSee you all then......x

Put the last bit of money in to the house moving fees savings account. Just need to exchange now!!
It's a good job as we decided today (while some friends were round) that we're going to go on holiday to America for Christmas!! Exciting, but expensive. Especially when we have a new house to pay for. Looking forward to (hopefully) spending Christmas with friends in the states. :xmastree: I'm sure my pot will help me!Saving for Disney again, oops why book one Disney holiday when you can book two!:starmod: Emergency Fund Savings - #148 - £10/£1000 1% :starmod::xmastree:#083 SPC6 £63 - SPC7 £90 - SPC8 £63 - SPC9 £54 - SPC10 £26 - SPC12 £70 :xmastree:0 -
