Another stray £1 coin potted today. I have £20 in holding piggy - the remains of the £60 that I've been hiding in there since the start of the month. Planning to pot whatever is left there when payday finally arrives on Friday :D

    Pins. X

Excellent news, Pins! Though.....30???? With that lot you deserve to be proud of yourself for not succumbing, keep it up. :T

    You too, Rosy.

There is a target there - my original target was £300 as that's what is normally put in the pot over the year (pre challenge). I upped it when I added £1 coins (I normally just save £2, 50p and 20p coins).
I'll definitely hit my upped £500 target and obviously passed the original £300. I would love to get near or pass the £600 mark though. A few £15 - £20 weeks would help.
    So a teaser would be £600. :D

    Lynsey

OK then, Lynsey, I've upped your Target to £600 and I've a really great feeling about you achieving it. ATB. :j

Keep going well, charleybear, much is achievable when you're trying hard - and you are! :D

All the best with your budget, mossy, you CAN do it!! :grinheart I really do hope the holiday in America for Christmas comes to fruition.

Well done with more sales, jakes-mum, though bad luck on DD winning with the roadkill!!! :rotfl:
Sorry I've been AWOL and have missed such a lot of posts  but we have just come back from a very wet and windy 10 days in Cornwall (without any internet access). It was lovely nevertheless, so a big WELCOME to any new potters I missed whilst away.

GREAT to see you back again, little_sweetie, and know that despite the weather you've had a lovely time. Be in touch asap.

You're ALL doing wonderfully with your savings, girls, stay strong!

Another £10 for the pot and quite happy at that.

Have a good Sunday, folks, and keep safe, healthy and....POTTING!! :D

Anyone wishing to join, please just ask, you're more than welcome, it's NEVER too late. There may be a lot of us, but don't feel intimidated, we're a lovely lot, so come on in.:grinheart

Little-Sweetie - glad you enjoyed your hols. What did you get up to?

Untouchable - do you have those shopping trolleys that are all in fashion where you are? Would one of those help you with the shopping? Not sure I could use one myself but it may help carrying 15kg of goodies around!

Two days of NSD Yay and DH gave me his change for the VW campervan pot total of £2.60 and another £1.08 today. Am off out for a walk now to Tesc@ for some ginger to make ginger beer, first time of making and I hope it turns out ok and that DH can keep his hands off it as he is a ginger fiend..

    Afternoon everyone
Daily £3 plus extra change potted. A rogue £1 left in a shopping trolley at Mr. M's this afternoon, someone had taken the trolley back to the little trolley shed and left it next to other troll lies without getting their £ coin back, result for sparky! Hope everyone is doing OK haven't had time to catch up with everyone's news yet, so I'll go have a quick scout now.

Hi mishmogs, and thank you! A few weeks ago we decided to blow most of our savings on a motorhome (before we get too old and achey to do it ;) ) as we had been longing for one for years and so we packed it up and set off to tour Cornwall. Starting at Looe we then went round the coast to Hayle, across to St Ives and then Tintagel taking in as many sights as we could along the way. The weather was foul apart from 2 sunny'ish days but it was so much fun :j Our DD thinks we are quite mad but it's now our turn to misbehave :D After sorting the washing I have found the grand sum of 53p to pot.....We are now totally broke until the end of the month but it was worth it :T
I hope your ginger beer turns out ok. I LOVE the stuff!

    Happy potting everyone x

Ah, not at the markets unfortunately! Though to do go prepared! I take a backpack to put all the vege and fruit in and one of those cooler bags for the meat. Its awkward to sit on the bus for an hour and a half with it all but it saved us money along the way :rotfl:

Only 4am here so nothing in the pot yet, though it was payday 2 hours ago!

Potted 20p change from shopping that was kicking around in my purse. :D

Lots of exciting things happening this year, but most of it's pretty expensive. Need to work out how to pay for it all. ;)

Hope everyone has had a good weekend. :)

31p for the pot today, but had a great day out around the "open gardens" in mum's village. We splashed out on a WI cuppa tea and slice of cake at the village hall and even made a few £1 purchases from the various stalls, but they were all great bargains.

And mishmogs.....I love ginger, and especially ginger beer.
