£320+ now and today starts the 2nd half of the challenge.
An average of around £8 per week will get me to my target. lol
Lynsey
Crikey are we half way through already?
£8 a week is about £1 a day which should be do-able, I must try harder but it's always a bit touch-and-go at the end of the month like now. And if I have to keep paying 70p to park the works van when I go shopping and then forgetting to claim it back - filling in a form for 70p to go into my pay - I'll never get there! I'll do that now.
Keep up the good work everyone and jakes-mum will we get a picture of Jake's cake when you've made it?

Have decided after much deliberation to set up a second sealed pot , this one is going to be towards next years car insurance. I know my wages are going to be decreasing soon and a big bill like that is going to put a serious dent in my budget - well more than a dent, could be a big problem to be honest. So here goes ....

Evening potters!
Have quite lost track of all these May birthdays, so (deep breath) HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! to everyone who has had/will have one this month
Also big hugs to all those in need; luckily we've got enough comforting arms to go round x
Reporting 10p road kill, 12p live trouser rummage, 40p swimming pool change, and a whopping 8 squids found in a money bag under the bed! Must have been a car park change bag in a former life
. Need more fruitful finds like that; it made my day :rotfl:

I'm back after a break of around a week (I think) from MSE! Life got busy and generally in the way. Now it's been payday (yay!) I can pot what was left over in my purse at the end of the pay month...a grand total of £5.24
That was after I'd spent some of it today...but in true MSE style I got a bargain!
As a self-confessed chocoholic, I normally spend at least £1 on chocolate a week. When I went to Superdrug on my lunch break to get a chocolate snack for my afternoon tea break, I almost got a galaxy for 65p when I saw a 4 pack of twixes reduced to 25p! The date on them was the 16th of June, so I bought a couple of packs for 50p! Cheaper than a galaxy and will last much longer!
