Hmmm - talking of mousetrap.....been woken by a little mouse running around!! Thought I had one.

As for favourite cake......it would have to be my mum's lemon drizzle cake. It is wonderful, although my brothers prefer her chocolate cake. I suspect the mouse would settle for either!!!

ps sorry if I've missed any birthdays lets all have cake - I'm keen on Dorset apple cake at the moment - what's your favourite everyone else?

I am a big fan of Banana bread, and I have a wicked recipe that always comes out well, even though I am not a great baker.

Sorry to hear about your relative Sue.

50p in the pot for me this morning. Might have some more later as we are off swimming.

Morning all , hope you all had a good bank holiday

    Another £1.42 potted :)

My pot is for christmas and although I started late I'm really pleased with how it's going.Resisted buying a big bar of nougat yesterday so i could pot the £1 instead :Athen ruined it as far as the waistline was concerned by eating a snickers I found in the cupboard lol

I've noticed quite a few of you have multiple pots on the go-tempted to start another one myself but not sure what for - don't know whether to go for something boring like next year's car insurance or a treat. Advice/ suggestions please :)

Jakes Mum.....Speaking of Birthday Cakes....have you thought about looking around for Cakeless Cakes? They are basically Cakes made entirely from Sweets and you can usually choose the Sweets you have them made from....I can't seem to figure out how to post a Photo but I have a great Photo of an Eiffel Tower Cake that I had made for my Ex just before we were due to go to Paris....Just a thought anyway...

No potting for me today....but I'm still getting there slowly!!

Oh god, im sure DS would love a cake made entirely of sweets, as would his dad and sister! Me on the other hand . . ., I usually make his birthday cake, last year it was 4 tiers high cos it didnt rise very well! It was always meant to be the number 11 honest :rotfl:

    Hi Guys,
Well, I did it! As today is officially the half-time whistle, I counted my total so far which was a whopping £143.50, however, I will only bank £91 of it (as run out of little plastic bags). My pot now has some room left to re-fill in time for the grand final total in November. Can't believe this is all as a result of rummaging in hubby's trousers... (and being a member of this fabby penny-potting gang..) :j

Love and hugs to all who need them. xx
Off for birthday lunch with those who matter most to me xx
