Happy Birthdays E2Rub and My lovely LC2
hope you both had fabby days (or did like me and declared a birthday weekend :rotfl:) its now 4 days to DS's big 12 birthday (as miss Lily keeps reminding me as she is the walking birthday countdown) must get on this week and make him a birthday cake which means I need to buy a big bag of M&M's and a pack of G/F kitkats
No pennies at the minute as I paid by card, am considering pushing my limits and going to the market to see the pet stall to see how much they charge for bird food and I reeeeeeeeeeeeeeally want one of those rugs thats a road for Miss Lilys bedroom :rotfl:SPC No 002 SPC(3) £285/£250 (4) £519.84/£500 (5) £768.32/£500 (6) £911.30/£600 (7) £913.23/£600 (8) £1184.82/£750 (9) £2864.04/£750 (10) £3846.25/£1000 (11) £1779.72/£1000 (12) £1596.55/£1000 (13) £1534.70/£1000 (14) £775.60/£1000 (15) £700.20/£1000 (16) £2081.34/£1000 (17) £1691.15/£1000 (18) £225/£10000 -

Hi everyone. Thank you ALL so very much for your beautiful words, they go such a long way at such times. Sadly, things haven't changed much, how on earth she is still alive I do not know! She's not eaten for weeks and barely drunk either....yet still goes on. The Nurses have been wonderful - except for one afternoon when the diamorphine ran out and she was left in agony!! It took hours for her to become pain-free, but DH & I stayed so as to at least comfort her. Keep well and safe, folks, and carry on looking out for each other as you've done so brilliantly I'll be in just as soon as I'm able.
Thanks so very much, Nell, Ruth and Modesty.
Soo pleased to hear of your tonic of tea with friends, Nell, laughter is the best medicine! Ooooooh thank you to Sue for my shiny new Star....and I am so sorry to hear that your family member is not any better....I wish you all the best...I'll be thinking of you.
Jakes Mum.....Speaking of Birthday Cakes....have you thought about looking around for Cakeless Cakes? They are basically Cakes made entirely from Sweets and you can usually choose the Sweets you have them made from....I can't seem to figure out how to post a Photo but I have a great Photo of an Eiffel Tower Cake that I had made for my Ex just before we were due to go to Paris....Just a thought anyway...
No potting for me today....but I'm still getting there slowly!!0 -
