Oh Sue I'm so sorry. LC2 is right of course. Look after yourself and DH for a while now.
LC2 thanks for putting into words what I couldn't.
Has anyone noticed all the special offers in Mr C lately? Last night I got cheese, chicken and wraps half price so I bunged a fiver in Patrick the pot cos I saved so much. And DD 'sold' me 4 x £2 coins. She keeps asking for £2.20 per £2 coin but I'm not having that! And it's payday tomorrow so I might empty my purse. We'll see.
Lots of hugs to those that want/need them

Big hug to you Sue-UU and a kiss too :kisses3:
You are very right Rosyq, Mr C seem to have bunged lots of good things on offer (still waiting for the next darned 15% off day though grr!) Their big beef joints are on half price which I normally cut into 3 and their half leg of lamb are on either 1/3 off or 1/2 price which is unusual as they normally do the meat offers on a rota. Even the Icant believe its not butter are on half price for the big tubs and 90p for the small, so well worth anyone popping in if they have one near them
DS's cake is currently in the oven, there was so much mixture, I ended up making 6 cupcakes as well  had to buy 2 new cake tins as mine were all scratched so couldnt guarantee they were uncontaminated anymore£7  for the 2  I felt slightly violated going through the till  Have had to shelve the kit kat round the edge idea as I realised it would take 2 packets at least to have enough to go round and at £2.09 a pack they can bog right off :rotfl: so a new idea is perculating, but you'll have to wait for a piccy
The lovely ladies at the PO have given me 2 x £2 coins so they are being potted in just a mo, my nice new 0% on purchases credit card is here with a big enough balance to pay the bit we were missing for the new car, AND DLA have finally rang to say they are sorting DH's claim out :j :j so a nice money day todaySPC No 002 SPC(3) £285/£250 (4) £519.84/£500 (5) £768.32/£500 (6) £911.30/£600 (7) £913.23/£600 (8) £1184.82/£750 (9) £2864.04/£750 (10) £3846.25/£1000 (11) £1779.72/£1000 (12) £1596.55/£1000 (13) £1534.70/£1000 (14) £775.60/£1000 (15) £700.20/£1000 (16) £2081.34/£1000 (17) £1691.15/£1000 (18) £225/£10000 -

Welcome RPS (may i call you RPS?) Anyhu, Sue will be along as soon as she is able to give you a number but just by reading the first post and telling us you want to join makes you a member.
Please start potting straight away. We are only halfway through the year so to reach your target you will need to save about 83p a daythat's very easily done, especially if you (like others on here) are prone to buying chocolate bars and want to give up
Above all, just have fun, we are very friendly and love a good natter and to here how you're getting along. Please join in, there are a lot of us here but noone is ever ignored.

Hey crimson.addict!
Thanks for the warm welcome!
Oh wow - I never even thought about using my chocolate bar addiction money! That may actually help me stick to my diet too - win/win!
Yes it's quite optimistic for me I think, but I have a sealed pot which is shared with OH that we use for notes and coins larger than 50p so I'm hoping to put all other coins in this one and fingers crossed I can reach at least the £100 mark!
So for my first day - potted around 93p in coppers!!:T

Ok for those of you that wanted to see, heres the cake
Im currently having to keep the thing in the fridge as for some unknown reason the butter icing seems to be melting  im wondering if its because I used I cant believe its not butter rather than real butter . . . but anywho, im sure DS, DH and DD wont moan, its cake after all :rotfl: my other option is to scrape the top off, go buy some real butter and redo it, but im not sure I can be bothered if im honestSPC No 002 SPC(3) £285/£250 (4) £519.84/£500 (5) £768.32/£500 (6) £911.30/£600 (7) £913.23/£600 (8) £1184.82/£750 (9) £2864.04/£750 (10) £3846.25/£1000 (11) £1779.72/£1000 (12) £1596.55/£1000 (13) £1534.70/£1000 (14) £775.60/£1000 (15) £700.20/£1000 (16) £2081.34/£1000 (17) £1691.15/£1000 (18) £225/£10000 -

Well, not that I am condoning it but some of the ladies on here do like to frisk their husbands and have a rummage though their pockets for change. Some even whilst said husbands are still in them! Lol
Wow Jakes-mum that is amazing (apart from the jam) I bet your DS will be very impressed. And a happy birthday from me!
