Good afternoon all! The sun isn't shining, but in three days time I will be in Crete basking in it! However my saving is not slipping and I have potted £4.50 today. However I am feeling a little sorry for myself after watching Newcastle lose 6-0 to Liverpool. Newcastle were absolutely terrible!0

1p in the pot....woo hoo last of the big savers lol!!
I did put another £70 in to the moving fees account though so that's good. Just waiting on some quotes from some conveyancing solicitors so that I can start to get an exact figure for all the house buying fees we are going to need to pay but it's getting there.
We met with our bank (Barclays) on Friday and they have given us a mortgage offer in principle....whoop whoop!! :T So we spent most of yesterday going around Estate agents....exciting times!! :dance:Saving for Disney again, oops why book one Disney holiday when you can book two!:starmod: Emergency Fund Savings - #148 - £10/£1000 1% :starmod::xmastree:#083 SPC6 £63 - SPC7 £90 - SPC8 £63 - SPC9 £54 - SPC10 £26 - SPC12 £70 :xmastree:0 -

Mossy, that is exciting - hope you have lots of fun house-hunting. I'm contemplating putting my house on the market in the next wee while....no idea how much it would go on the market for so think I'm going to get an estate agent to come and have a look before I decide ......
Ended up potting 20p of my DS's 30p contribution after paying for bus fares.
I spent less than anticipated last night- would pot the difference but need to pay for replacement locks so I'll use that rather than withdraw from savings.
I love, love, love this thread and have really got into the habit of saving and watching what I spend. Thanks Sue for continuing this wonderful challenge :ASPC Member #112 :A Save £2k in 2014 # 160 :money:0 -
Having considered the paypal balance, and the holding pot at home......£9 has gone in the pot. Felt very good dropping those pound coins in there, after really watching what I have been spending the last few weeks :jSPC No:118:j (6) £468.74 (7)

wow only 70p a day thanks for putting it like that Ruth , that makes it sound much more doable
I find it easier to split things into manageable chunks so it doesn't seem as daunting...... I am also obsessed with numbers and spreadsheets and working things out lol. Glad i could help xGold stars awarded to, Helen, Ruth and jakes-mum (I had to deliberate hard on hers!) for lovely welcomes. Here you are girls, keep em sparkling. :staradmin :staradmin :staradmin

BIG WELCOME TO busybumblebee, cakemum, LittleOwl and stacey92 Good luck with all your pottingyou seem to be doing so well already
I have potted a few pennies over the weekendI've done really well this month i think
Also done well with my gym so might have to pot some extra as a reward. I also discovered how therapeutic (if a little painful) splitting logs is! lol. If i've not shifted any lbs this month i will be mad! lol
