Slight change of plans! We're not going to New York now we're going to Butlin's Skegness! Do you still want to come? I can just imagine it now walking down the promenade in January with a bracing wind and a carton of fish & chips then pop into the pub for a quick pint! Sounds idyllic doesn't it?
OOOh Nothing nicer than chippy out of the paper in the rain along the promenade with the rain pouring down and the wind blowing you over!!
Oh so much better than NY and cheaper too!!!
Bet we could fill butlins !!

Hi everyone and thanks again for your 'welcome back' messages, you're all too kind.luckycharlie wrote:Hi Sue
Glad to have you back :T:T:T
Me, Jakes-mum Rosy and LindyLou are all going to NY with SPARKY :T:T:T I'm sure a few more will come with us.
It's funny though SPARKY hasn't been seen since I suggested we all went with him, but don't worry I expect he is searching the streets for our spending money!!!
Hope you are coming wouldn't it be fun !!!
Thanks so much, LC 2, it's good to be back with so many friendly folk. Despite sparky's protests I'm sure he would love to have us all with him, any time he says anything to the contrary, think of Shakespeare and "the lady doth protest too much"!
All the best with your next goal, Lynsey.
You put all you need to put into your 'holding pot', Nell, I'm sure you'll soon know if you don't need to keep it by any longer. At least it's safe til then.dinglefoot wrote:I walked to Morrisons (which is easily 2 miles from where I work, mostly uphill!) after work...I'm really trying to get fitter and avoid the temptation of getting the bus!
A terrific way of saving, dinglefoot, and getting fit as well - who could possibly argue with that, keep it up and save well.
Ah, I see you've changed your mind then, sparky, (fibbing hound!), no worries though as I'd sooner have Skeggy anyday! :rotfl:Have a lovely Wednesday, folks, and keep right in saving!!

Thanks for the lovely welcome. I think my pot will be going towards the 'C' word although Skegness sounds tempting, never been. Being a Shetland lass would probably do a critique on the fish and chips.
Today met with a friend for her birthday, because I have health issues and she has a family and works shifts we don't often see each other so today was lovely.Sealed Pot Challenge 6 - 20580 -
