Counted up all my loose change for my first 'pot'. Have over £10 worth of 5ps and £8 worth of coppers, for somebody that only ever uses cards, how on earth did I amass such a change collection? :S
Anyhow, that's £19.79 into my sealed sweetie tin and a good start to my first challenge. I have made a deal with myself that the Xmas tree can't go up until the house is ship shape and shiny. So I expect there will be more pennies to add when I start organised cupboards/drawers etc, the little blighters get EVERYWHERE.
Also need to clean the cars at some point so no doubt there will be some hoarding going on there too!
Hope everybody is well, this thread moves so quickly it's hard to keep up!

Morning sparky, thanks a lot. Will speak later but have to go out pronto.Tres bien Sue! and your English is very good Chupachups. I wish I could speak another language fluently.
X
YOU could if you really wanted to, Elle, there are plenty of free sites on the web, even lessons on YTube. If you can get apps, there's another great starting point. Go for it, I'm so pleased I did. I'll never be fluent, but to be understood and understand is great!!!Well done with your cash too!
Lovely to see you over here, Fiasco55. Your Target is updated as requested, all the best with it.
Good to see you back, Lost, I feel as though we've found you all over again! :grinheart
You too, Pmo2! Keep up with us 'old timers' :j
We'll hold you to that, DreamerHelen, though you shouldn't be using it before next Nov IF it's sealed, now should you!!!crimson.addict wrote:Dont worry about your english chupachups. Most english people aren't that good at speaking english so we are already well ajusted
Oi Ruth, you be careful wat you're insinauting!!girlatplay wrote: »Erm...... I'm not actually sure. I was hoping someone else would come along and save me here (PMO2!). I have looked at the first post of the challenge to read all the instructions again and it just says that you can put down a date or a target if you want: "The aim is to collect every £2 coin you can lay your hands on!" There is nowhere that says the totals will be counted at any time. I guess it is just to encourage everyone in the challenge to save. In my case I will declare my total but I don't think it will be counted towards a grand total of all savers unless the person running the challenge will tot it all up at the end of the year, however, the first post of the challenge doesn't make that clear. Other than that, I'm a bit stuck on your question
I shall be having a look over there myself later, Gap, but IF it's as you 'think' then I reckon it'll be ok; leave it with me. Pesky folk!
Keep it going, Emily, you're looking good. :jchupachups4 wrote: »crimson.addict wrote: »Dont worry about your english chupachups. Most english people aren't that good at speaking english so we are already well ajusted
